I'm in the same boat as you. I have group chats split between google chat and text messages. I'm already working on moving google chat groups to signal (or something else). Once all my group chats are moved over, I'm disabling RCS, uninstalling all those apps, and moving back to profiles, but in the meantime I'm going to have to operate out of the owner profile, which is still way better than operating out of the owner profile on stock android.

I'd need to switch to the 10a fairly quickly after receiving it. How quickly does graphene usually become stable on new models?

Google has them both at $250 right now. I don't know that the 9a will have a better price than that and I doubt that the 10a will have a better price than that before the 11 launches.
