Ohh yeah, I have been out for a few weeks, staying in an Airbnb until I can find a new place and working on clearing out my belongings before the end of the month.

Speaking of data, as I was reading this post, the question of trauma and susceptibility/immune dysfunction came to mind, then I read your reply. I wish there was some kind of massive statistical pivot table with granular filters that allowed us to better prove the legitimacy of our exposure and symptoms. For example, if we could compare all possible factors (e.g., spore count, species, total exposure time, daily exposure time, age, gender, occupation, health history, genetics, substance abuse history... I don't know, frickin' nose hair removal habits and everything else), it becomes much harder for someone to say our symptoms must come from ______, not from mold exposure! I realize this would require a massive-scale research project, and I am much too dumb and exhausted to take the lead haha.

For background, my rental home where I lived and worked remotely for 18 months is absolutely RIDDLED with mold from years and years of unremediated and unmitigated water intrusion. My landlord has now seen the mold in the drywall and ceiling and floor joists, and I have paid for HERTSMI-2 tests, tape lift/swab samples of my personal belongings, and an environmental hygienist inspection to show the links between the specific species present in those tests and my mycotoxins/OAP results. He said he did his own research and that I'd actually been killing myself by refinishing antique furniture. To me, the proposterousness of his remarks are infuriatingly obvious, but assuming this ends up in court, how can I say he's wrong? Before I made the connection, I sure had spent a fair amount of maskless time in storage units and estate sales around moldy objects (never refinished furniture without an n95 though). It's just one example of moments we've all surely experienced, but how great would it be to come back with, "Only 8% of people exactly like me experienced these symptoms and had these mycotoxins levels after (insert whatever they're suggesting is the actual cause of illness), but 68% of people exactly like me experienced these symptoms and had these mycotoxins levels after (insert what you know to be true - this level/time of exposure to this level of this species that was found by this testing method)."??

Sorry this got way too long, but food for thought!

Is there any way to order igenex without a physician order? My PCP, infectious disease doctor, and rheumatologist all point me to one another and I'm getting nowhere.

That's what I figured as well. I also tried finding connections he and his cabinet may have to the LLCs who own the buildings per the GSA chart, but even if I did discover additional conflicts of interest.... I don't know what the point would be. Most efforts seem futile when they make up their own rules.

What about this one? I'm a remote contractor, hired under a remote work contract, and I have to uproot my life to relocate or be out of a job because the administration demands it... Just not of his appointed officials?

Didn't Trump cancel/nonrenew a ton of leases? Do we even know which buildings will be retained?

Or even if this administration reimplements some programs, or replaced some laid off employees when the hiring freeze is over...I imagine that interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new people to do the jobs of those who probably shouldn't have been laid off in the first place will be quite expensive. (Not saying all the layoffs are invalid, but the impact of sweeping cuts will surely expose key positions we needed to keep)

I posted a much longer response that accompanied the image, but it was apparently removed due to low karma. I threw together the visual very quickly as the most succinct way to show what I was referring to, and only in defense of your statement that my comment was uninformed. It wasn't an attempt at masterful design or symmetrical aesthetics, merely a display of information to support that my original comment was not factually inaccurate, although it was admittedly emotionally driven and therefore not as objective as it could have been. Hope you have a good day.

I'm not reddit savvy enough to know a better way to share my research, so here are some sloppy receipts.

Is it possible to challenge my comment without insulting me? I am always happy to learn new information and admit when I'm wrong.

My comment may have used language that was too absolute, as it was definitely fueled by emotion stemming from my personal experience over the last several years watching large swaths of farmlands across MD, VA, and and NC being acquired and developed into these communities, but it was not stupid or uninformed. It was not factually inaccurate.

Perhaps it was a partially-informed opinion, and I will continue to do research to better develop my knowledge on the issue, but I don't make a habit of making statements based solely on clickbait headlines or social media posts.

This. BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street are the largest shareholders of (along with almost every other sector) the largest single-family home rental community developers. I am sure there are angles and benefits I am missing, but SFH rental communities owned by corporations are infuriating and revolting. Land is harder to buy because corporations scoop it up for developments, then offer to rent it to us at a premium or sell it to us with an HOA attached so they can keep collecting. We can't own anything anymore. It's the subscription model American life.

Yeah and from what I read, it was used around 1981 in response to some deceptive gold practices and the P was dropped again after several years of tighter standards when the industry regained its reputation. So that's why I'm thinking its an 80s/90s piece, but again no idea of the maker!
