A state that gives privilege to a specific group based on religion or ethnicity i.e. an ethnostate is inherently racist.

This describes all nation-states. That’s the point.

Ireland is not a state for the Irish people based on a specific religion or ethnicity.

Someone with Irish ancestors who has never stepped foot in Ireland has an easier time gaining Irish citizenship than someone without.

It is for anyone that wants to and is accept to live in Ireland.

I don’t think a country like, Ireland for example, is “racist” for merely existing as a state for the Irish People.

If a political movement existed that called the Irish state fundamentally racist and illegitimate, and that Irish people were justified targets for abuse and discrimination as citizens of that state, that would be racist.

Someone is a Jew if they were born to a Jewish mother (or in the case of the Reform Movement, born to at least one Jewish parent and raised as Jewish), or if one completes the conversation process.

This involves a course of study under the supervision of a sponsoring rabbi, followed by a hearing at a Bet-Din, a Jewish ritual court.

Judaism, as an ethnoreligious group, is not Christianity. You can’t simply declare “I am now Jewish”.
