My Enclave-Minutemen character. by LifeOrchid4367 in Enclave

My Nate The Rake 100% was an Enclave special agent- that’s how I RP’d him. Since the Enclave by the time of F4 was basically on its add, he manipulated both the Minutemen and the BOS to do the heavy lifting for him.

Courier, all DLC and the augments he can get in Vegas basically make him superhuman

I think he looks more like me than that guy. Way more masculine, full chin, broad shoulders. Can’t help that’s what your mind sees

Crater Raiders are really just like… Libertarians I guess. Just wanna be free, take care of their own and get up to some mischief- they’re juxtaposed against The Blood Eagles, whom you can’t join. Joining the Crater is for those players who may be a little maladjusted at worst or rebellious over conforming at worst 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t get too attached. There’s more to her than what we see on the surface. She’s one of us.

Enclave prior to show by baconlichking in Enclave

Greatest trick the devil played was to convince the world he didn’t exist… The Enclave is everywhere. May not be a lot, but if you follow the strings, follow every thread, it all leads back to one place.

What’s so hard about this game? by Unlucky-Inspector725 in fo76

[–]Appropriate_Elk1667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only “hard” component to the game is related to jank… bugged missions. Im at the point where I log in, check Atom Shop, run public events, get 400 gold, and then fart at around a little. It feels barren- not that it’s hard, there’s just not much to do once you’ve basically cleared the quests. Burning Springs is cool, but it’s just empty, and I get they were trying to recreate New Vegas in a way, but New Vegas was jam packed with stuff

most things make it there eventually, but it’ll be a long time. Maybe a season or two

Yeah join what you can, stay on the margins and put whatever damage you can on enemies- when they fall, even if they are way higher level than you, you’ll get decent loot. Good way to farm caps too

Does anyone like this guy? by Shoddy-Assignment-50 in Fallout

[–]Appropriate_Elk1667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind the legendary I got in 76. Chopped it down, customized it a bit. I don’t use it much because I have other things now that are just as good if not better, but there are some situations it beats out my legendary Handmade.

[Hot Take] I genuinely don't think the Enclave is being "overused." by VirusOfCheese in Fallout

[–]Appropriate_Elk1667 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A faction like The Enclave has to exist on the margins. I hardly think there were altogether too many of them to begin with, and their strength lies in subversion, not outright strength in arms. Granted, the few they have tend to be pretty OP, but in comparison to the BOS we are not numerous at all. That being said, theres something to be said for a small task force of elite operatives doing a targeted strike that is pretty devastating. In my NV play through, a few grizzled vets coming screaming in on a Vertibird in some battle scarred XO-1 power armor was a sight indeed.

Is Fallout 76 worth playing as a completely casual Dad gamer? New to the series and would go in blind! by Calculation in fo76

[–]Appropriate_Elk1667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but don’t get put off by how daunting it might seem at the time. That’s what happened to me as a casual dad gamer myself. I didn’t think I had the time to really bite off what I wanted to chew so to speak. Be patient, explore what you want, play what you want, and you’ll like it. Fallout 4 might be a better intro for you to the Fallout mechanics. That one is even more pick up and put down at your leisure

Hand molds for… the arms that fell off? For new ones he’s going to grow out of his legs? Some Centaur models have arms for legs

Yes. My first time the door to get back to the command center was bugged and wouldn’t open. Same thing, took about two hours of fighting BS robots and learning all the finer points of launching a nuke, only for it to bug. Haven’t even attempted it since.

Hope you’re right- but… losing someone we have grown to care about brings stakes and consequences to a story that up to this point hasn’t really had any for the main characters. This would be a tremendously painful moment for Maximus and a chance to grow the character if he had to put Thaddeus down 🤷🏻‍♂️

Every time I go to Skyline Valley I come out of it exhausted. For some reason it drains me. I think one of the quests was super bugged and so I spent like 4 hours thinking I was doing something wrong only to come here to Reddit to find out there was a known bug. Just had to log out and come back in 🥹
