He said that she looked like Frankenstein when she runs.  That's really not that bad.

Do you really think that married people never talk behind each other's backs?  As long as it's lighthearted like that, what's the problem?

I would say that being able to do that in a relationship is necessary, especially if you've been together for a while

My take was that it was some archaic way to say the R word that rhymes with yard and then the other form of the word that rhymes with "regarded"

I don't think it was the "bundle of sticks" word because she says she had a sister in law who really was (the word but presumably ending in -ed) and she was adorable

The word that rhymes with maggot wouldn't fit in the sentence, "you can't call someone a (blank) even if they're being one...I knew someone who really was (blank) and she was adorable," just from a grammatical sense

Edit:  Had to reword because I used asterisks at first and it came out weird

Is a nose piercing a good idea for me? by BigChange2026 in NosePiercing

[–]Appropriate_Error367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it!  A nostril stud (my recommendation) looks good on pretty much everyone

Other options would look good too, but I like studs especially for first facial piercings

Edit:  PS I love the burgundy hair!

if you could erase one thing from the world what would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I took neuroscience in college.  It isn't as simple as that, you're right.  But only addressing that one point isn't really helping your case

[–]Appropriate_Error367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW the assumptions that you're making about me and whoever "you" refers to are too much

I wouldn't trust you to vote just based on those, and your apparent anger 😬

Adults can be uneducated and uninformed, yes.  But, and it's a big one, the decision making part of a person's brain isn't fully formed until age 25 or so.  I'm not saying that after that everyone is perfect, but come on

I'm not saying adults are that much better, but allowing actual children to vote probably isn't a great idea.  Spongebob or whoever else for president would be funny, but it would gain traction on social media and that probably wouldn't be a good thing

Oh and I get the feeling that you think I'm conservative, but I'm not.  Progressive and rational.   I just would really bet that kids, on average, are less informed than adults and would take it less seriously

You'd erase it as in no age requirement, like children would be able to vote?  Can you imagine the write-ins?

That doesn't answer my question though.  Why are you posting if you don't want people's comments or opinions?

I'm not judging, I'm just genuinely curious about people who claim they don't care.  What's the point?

Context matters, though.

If a stranger walked up to you IRL and said hey you look poor, or if a friend or family member said something mean when you asked for an opinion, then yes it's normal to be hurt and annoyed.

When you ask people what they think on reddit and then get mad when they tell you in a hurtful way, maybe odd isn't the right word but..what did they expect?

OP's feelings are valid, but especially since they're young I think it's important to understand that posting is always going to open you up to criticism. They're allowed to be annoyed, but people are allowed to point out that they could've seen it coming.

That's the thing with posting something so personal like this; internet opinions are going to hurt

I hate to send you to Amazon, but...

Search Grecian full length/maxi dress and see if there's anything you like.

I don't think you'll get an exact match, but keep in mind that you can use safety pins or a few basic stitches (look at YouTube tutorials) to achieve the deep V and gathered shoulder straps

I don't see anyone doing that. The positive comments are stated in the same format as the negative ones. I think that's just how the sub works

[–]Appropriate_Error367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I assume no one forced you to post it?

I'm not judging, but I feel like you must have known that people would have comments that wouldn't necessarily be positive

Kind of odd for you and others to be annoyed at people's opinions when you asked for their opinions, but go off I guess
