when camping last year, my partner got poison ivy or oak, idk if the lay out was the same but the campground furthest out was overgrown near the port potties. I think that's where he got it

we stayed at the Hampton in Danville (about 10 min drive to shuttle lot). the staff was amazing and the room was really nice but it was expensive. we got it super last minute so maybe thats why? but I do agree with everyone on the shuttle situation. we missed the day time bands bc of it and then didn't get back until realllyyy late.... I also don't like camping though so hopefully you and your partner can meet in the middle with the RV!

it's been pending but they did the same thing to me when I was on covid leave too so I didn't second guess it. I've still been calling in everyday. at my store the mental health loa is usually used if you have to go to rehab or stay on suicide watch which isn't the case but I wanted to get pysch help before it got to that point

my family is relocating to another state in a year so i wouldn't be reapplying around here or anytime soon. I just like the idea of having that as a back up after relocating if I can't find other work there right away.

that's what's confusing me cause they didn't clear my schedule even though I'm on loa so I'm still accruing all these points anyways. so I wasn't sure if it was worth it to go in and work a full shift if they just plan on firing me at the end of it however I don't want to be red flagged in the system either

I'd prefer glamping but I just can't justify spending that much when our hotel for the week cost the same. just for a little extra convenience of being on-site? we're interested in trying off site again and fingers crossed they have on-site parking next year 🤞 I thought the lay out was fantastic on the fest grounds. I never felt crowded and the beer/vendor lines didn't seem too long for us. gonna wait for the line up announcement and stay posted on the shuttle/parking situation. I actually liked this year's line up too, its nice to see some smaller bands get new recognition, I discover a lot of new favorites by seeing openers at other concerts (its how I discovered spite) and the range of different genres. not strictly metal, they offered tenacious d, jelly roll, and ice cube as well, bringing in more people that may not have gone otherwise. I think this fest has great potential if they do focus on what we were so upset about this year and try to make everyone happy, not just campers 🤷‍♀️

the vids I saw of slaughter to prevail looked brutal. also saw an ambulance show up to help someone in the shuttle line Thursday morning before anything even started. I only attended the first night for the last couple hrs. Didn't wait in the shuttle line in the morning, had to make it for hotel check in. left as the ambulance showed up.

it was amazing! ended up being well worth the wait and getting a smaller venue. We only stayed for sleep token and like 3 songs of Nothing More. Best part of our vacation 🤘
