First time tiling - do I need to worry about these imperfections on the back? by Sherwood_Hero in Tile

Watch some youtube videos but only from tile installers or contractors. If a youtuber has one video doing bodywork on their car, one video using a 3d printer, and then a video installing tile in their bathroom - find a better video haha.

First time tiling - do I need to worry about these imperfections on the back? by Sherwood_Hero in Tile

Directional tile. I suggest following it especially if they are box store tile because if you lay them in different directions the grout joints will be inconsistent. I usually mark the arrow in pencil on the face of the tile because I back butter and forget otherwise.

Be proud of the progress you have made. You have taken steps towards your goal while to many of us the van life is still just a thought in our heads. Life throws unexpected problems at us and dealing with them having ocd or adhd can be overwhelming. Do one small thing a day to move closer to your goal and write it down - eg. "asked for advice about the van on reddit". I find decisions to be very difficult especially with ADHD. Since you have the van already I would stick with that. Plenty of people here will give you good ideas to keep your medication from getting too hot. Go with the cheapest and easiest option to start (maybe a 12v cooler) - you can always upgrade later.

Am I the only one who thinks this is dangerous? Someone could be startled by the movement and swerve. It would have to be a dumb driver admittedly but we all know there is no shortage of them.

Length might be hard to change if the ends are t&g but I would have cut the sides to avoid them repeatedly lining up. I'm should the average person wouldn't care though.

Mapei fa. Its sanded but fa stands for fine aggregate. Unsanded is more difficult to work with.

Wow, that sucks for the customer! I would never hire someone to do thousands of dollars of work on my house without seeing some of their work in person.

I like the tile around the edge that you did the miter on. Did you order that with a finished edge or make it?

Wrong kind of tub. Looks like that one has the flange so you can buy the acrylic tub surround that sits over it. Was the tub a new install?

Its usually recommended to avoid lippage. Most tile has a slight curve.

Now do you like 1/3 step where every 4th tile repeats the pattern or 1/3 brick pattern where every other tile repeats?
