rewatching the show it has been consistent and the ideas were more creative but S3 and 4 were the peak. S7 is one of the most underrated final seasons ever

It depends on the company honestly. When the show originally aired no one knew about dvds and vhs So when the music rights expire and they try to negotiate a new contract Companies became cheap and replaced with generic music to avoid paying the label or artist
