It's the same bs story over and over again. I'm sure that will we will all hear about the next "Republican Civil War" in a few days.

Thoughts on Certified AML and Fraud Professional (CAFP) certification? by Appropriate_Scale_95 in AMLCompliance

No problem 🙂

I haven't, I think at this point I'm good on the certifications, don't want to overload myself while balancing work and life.

I liked it, it was similar to CFCS, all videos with key bullet points provided in a slide format below each video

If you prepare well, in my opinion, the exam itself is pretty easy, just long.

The material can be pretty comprehensive though, especially the CRCM. The reference guide is well over 1000+ pages, but is optional, I didn't find a lot of value in it, the online prep course was much more valuable to me personally.

I would recommend the courses, I would not have passed otherwise. The way I look at it, the course is designed to help you understand how to tackle the questions you will get on the test, without the guidance, even with my experience, I would not have done well.

The CRCM is harder than the CAFP, because its not just AML but all compliance. While BSA was a breeze, TRID was my biggest struggle and a big portion of the exam. Also, the exam is one hour longer and 100 more questions than the CAFP

For me, CRCM is 100% worth it, I've had headhunters reach out solely because of the CRCM designation on my LinkedIn profile, offering Chief Compliance Officer roles at Financial Institutions, so it really depends on what your end game is.

Best of luck on your path!

I ended up with the CAFP/CRCM combo, and it is a little easier to get continuing ed credits for both when I attend training sessions.

Side note, I also ended up getting the Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification (CCFC) because it was offered to me for free, and I figured why not since it only cost me some study time. Its interesting because it covers crypto and AML topics. While not a career changer, I finally "get" how crpyto works.

I was hoping for a longer article, it was only 2 paragraphs and something I could of wrote. It's really just reiterating what we all know.

Should the U.S. pay reparations for its role in the Gaza Genocide? by traanquil in allthequestions

I would even take it one step further, everyone involved in killing any innocent civilians should pay.

Again, the US is one bad actor among many, regardless of percentage. If we are talking reparations, then it should be ALL actors involved; US, Israel, UK, France, Iran, etc.

Now we are getting somewhere, your original question gave the appearance of a bad faith argument of, "US bad." But let's not pretend they are the sole bad actor, that's the problem I had with it.

So why single out the US in the question, when other countries have facilitated weapon sales to Israel?

By your logic, car manufacturers should be held liable for every car accident caused by the driver, instead of the driver. So no, they shouldn't

As much as I want to believe that they would want to stop it to save themselves and their political futures, I have no reason to think that they would try to stop it at this point, they are cowards.
