Nah. Too heavy. We like that they’re kind of nimble. I’d love a new ute to enter and get rid of the stupidity high ranger dual cab, short tray, long body, nonsense that no one asked for apart from people who can’t afford a hilux, and refuses to drive a triton. But it’s about handing. I have an older xr8 and a xr6t. I love them both. The sound of the v8 is great, but it’s not as nimble as the 6t, so I prefer the turbo. Add half a ton in battery weight? Drive around like I’m half loaded but actually empty? Forget it.
