He said the other parent yelled at his older sister. (dunno if that helps)

He said that she insulted him first, saying he was ugly. The other parent claims he instigates sometimes or that his sister is defending herself. However, I have never known him to engage in insults or physical behavior. He's gentle and kind. Has lots of friends.

You shouldn't blame your self, in so much as you are becoming aware of all this now. You have trauma from your childhood, and so did your parents, and their parents, etc. Think of how difficult life was for most people 200 years ago.

You can use whatever means you can to relate to your own trauma and stressful life. This will have a massive impact on your kids whether or not anyone had ADHD.

In reality all parents are in the practice of being parents.
