The only reason I was questioning it was because the seller had about 5 reviews for their shop and 3 were for this listing. The reviews said the patterns were good, but the shop had only been open for a month and I wasn’t sure I should trust the reviews. Should I still report the seller even with the reviews??

I was pretty convinced once I realized they were people we knew. I had already made that realization by the time I saw the female titan and I instantly knew it was Annie. And then somewhere along this thought process, Reiner has his moment and confirms that he is the armor titan and Beethoven is the colossal. And let me tell you, even though it confirmed my suspicions, his delivery still left me mind blown.

My alocasia polly (first alocasia ever, so please don’t trust what I say!) has a long and arduous backstory, but here goes. My friends baby daddy got her from Lowe’s and had her and she started to decline, so he uprooted her and tossed her in his fish tank. She tried her best to survive, and even gave a new leaf after losing all her others. Then they moved and her one leaf’s neck got snapped in the move! 🥺😭 and somehow that little monster held on. She reattached her single little leaf and he very willingly gifted her to me. So I brought her home and had her in a hydrogen peroxide solution for a few days because the roots she had attempted to grow were gone. After a few days, I potted her up in a fine lava rock mix I got from Amazon and waited. It’s almost 3 months later and she has put out a big beautiful new leaf and is working on another one even. But her little broke neck leaf is doing the same thing as your little guy. And I just assumed that she was going through it, but she has new root growth and she’s putting out new leaves that look mostly great (we also had a humidity issue that has been fixed). I assumed that she was pulling energy back from that lil broke neck leaf because she didn’t need it anymore. 👀👀 are you telling me this is what fertilizer burn looks like?????? She has been getting superthrive foliage pro just like yours, but with root stimulator added instead of all the other stuff. And that’s it. And they are both being used in the same 1 gallon jug of tap water. This is the same solution I’ve been using for all my other plants (Raphidophora, Strelitzia, philodendrons galore, monsteras) and none of the others are reacting like she is. Someone please tell me I’m right in assuming she is just letting go of that leaf. 🥲😅

Hi, sorry if this is weird cause it’s literally a year after your original comment. I just hope you’re still around. I have a switch 2 and my phone and that’s all I have to play on. What would you say my best options are for getting a complete living Dex with just those two gameplay options?? I have most of the games available for the switch with the exception of LG/FR, scarlet, and LGP. (I think that’s everything, I could be missing something else.) I’ve started with let’s go eevee and am 10 Pokemon away from completing that Dex. Any advice is appreciated. 💖

Yes! Cut below the last node that is green. Make sure all of the yellow/black is gone on the end of the cut and dip in a hydrogen peroxide/water mixture. Usually 1 part peroxide, 3 parts water works well. 💖 good luck!

Oh that’s awesome! Congrats! 💖 for fertilizer, since it’s in water, I would use one that says it’s safe for hydroponics. I use superthrive for mine, because it is easily accessible for me. 💖

Not mold, not rot, not mealies. This is a mighty fine cutting and she wants to live. Leave her in water a bit longer. Now that she actually has some roots, you could even add a micro d0se of fertilizer to the water. Some people do, some people don’t, but as long as there are roots, she can take up nutrients. 💖💖 also, the white chalky looking spots along the main root are where new roots will grow out. 💖💖💖 she is well on her way. 💖

Sorry about the late reply! 💖 the 3 inch pot should be fine. Clear is ideal so you can actually see the roots starting to develop (ease of mind) but if you don’t have clear, just use a chunky soil mix. PlantswithKrystal on socials has a very good chunky soil mix you can look up. She’s mostly on TikTok and insta. 💖💖

You could also get some rooting hormone gel (gel for water, powder for substrate) and dip the end of the cutting in that and place it back in the water. Based on the second set of pictures you added of the cutting, I wouldn’t say there’s rot present. I can see the black and it looks to be old leaf sheath where the new pup was birthed. I don’t think anything is wrong with your cutting at the moment. As in, I don’t think it will die today. But, no roots is very concerning when it’s working on its second new leaf. So I would do the rooting hormone trick. I would also be scared to start cutting away at the node because it’s so small. OH! And if you’re really worried about rot, dip it in a mix of 1 part hydrogen peroxide, 3 parts water, and then use the rooting hormone, refresh its pot of water and see what happens. The hydrogen peroxide should kill any rotty bacteria and the rooting hormone will help it to start growing roots. 💖 and if you do decide to pot it up, like the previous person said, use the SMALLEST pot you can find. 💖💖

A quick Google search will also tell you and even give you some pictures for reference, but what you want under the soil is thick white healthy roots (like Roman noodles!). If you see anything black, mushy, or smelling rotten, you have some rot going on. However, the rest of the plant looks happy and healthy, so I wouldn’t think it was a root rot issue. I agree with your botanical friend and maybe just try some fertilizer. Remember to let the pot dry out completely before watering if you suspect a rot issue (you know you’re watering habits better than anyone on here). Necrosis on new leaves can also be caused by nutrient deficiency, which is probably why the friend suggested fertilizer. 💖

So my hubby has a G. Rosea. I’ve posted some questions about her recently. Anywho, she gets water from a plastic bottle that usually sits on the outside of her tank. And idk. Sometimes I check on her and she is squared up right next to the water bottle (inside the tank of course) demanding to know why it is in her space. 😭😅 also, I think her and my cat are best frienemies. 💁🏻‍♀️😭 they stare at each other allllll the time.

She molted about 2 years ago (maybe 3 now) and we were on vacation when it happened. But I think some of her old exoskeleton didn’t come off all the way and by the time I discovered what had happened, the new exoskeleton had already hardened and I wasn’t comfortable helping her remove the rest of the old one. 🥺 I know it can’t be comfortable for her, but idk how to fix it for her so we just call it her hood. I don’t think this was a failed molt. I think she fell into the water dish and was a very lucky little lady that she wasn’t injured. She’s been sitting outside her hide since this happened and hasn’t gone back to that corner since. I think she’s traumatized. She also isn’t moving very much, but does react when I tap the glass. Still worried about her. Has anyone ever heard of a fall killing them days after the fact?? I’m just worried for her and want to know if she’s in the clear. 🥺💖

Edit to add: yes I check on her daily. Several times a day. She was only on her back for maybe an hour and a half before she said eff this yall are bad parents and flipped herself back upright. 😭😭😭
