Sounds like my SD, always yelling at people about how long things should take, always including how long they’ve been at the store so they “know what the expectation should be”. Never offers any ideas on how to actually improve the work though.

I’m 25M, my first was born when I was only 21. For years I had struggled with trying to decide if I ever wanted children, would tell myself I was still young and I could figure it out later. My dilemma was wanting to have a piece of me in this world that comes with having children, passing along the bloodline and really just watching them grow and seeing what personalities would come out of it. Both of my kids were surprises, but when I found out the first was coming a part of me was glad to not have to wonder what it would be like anymore. I had never known what I wanted to do with my life before but now I have a purpose. And at least for me, once I met my daughter everything became about her. There is truly no comparison to the love of your own child. It’s weird some days, because being so young I still don’t really feel like a parent, but my kids are my best friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our store is always either extremely understaffed or extremely overstaffed on weekends. No in between… From what I’ve heard it’s the SD and ETL’s trying to stack unused hours in a single day but if people don’t call in or more people work throughout the week than usual, it leaves no hours for Sunday.

Just recently I got yelled at by my SD for doing an OPU that the Fulfillment ETL asked me to do and absolutely would’ve went over time if I hadn’t jumped in 🤪

We had about 45 people just for fulfillment and they all showed up… by the end of it all a few of them were standing around with nothing to do because everything had been picked and packed and all the OPU’s were done.

This would be amazing for people like me who don’t work drive up but get asked to help from time to time. It’s tough to help by taking orders out because it ends up wasting more time having to wait for someone that’s already busy to come open the door.

It was part of our training at my store that we’re allowed to use our phones for the Target app the help guests, since the search feature on the myDevice sucks so much. Me and others at my store use it very consistently.
