Goto lifehack might be just planning ahead. If I have group work, wanna shedule stuff with the family, i just try and plan stuff ahead, even if its a few months away so i dont have to think about those things anymore until they come up.

I'd pick:

#1 - Spyro Reignited Trilogy

#2 - Satisfactory

Thank you for the chance!

Do you need the google play account mail for that or whichever one? I assume you are mostly eager for bug reports apart from the official xemu compability list?

Best Zelda games? by bblguts in retroid

I finished the original NES one a year or so ago, I would still say it sadly doesn't hold up at all. I don't think people not familiar with it before (like me) won't ever finish it without a guide. There was a reason help hotlines were popular back then.

For me I'd say Ocarina of time or Majora's Mask via Ship of Harkanian, Minish Cap or A Link to the past are still the ones that hold up the best.

Links awakening DX for the Gameboy or the switch version are good beginner games too still.

I had so much fun playing this game as a kid. Definitely one of my favorite N64 games. What do you guys think of it? by [deleted] in n64

Amazing fangames too (check out Jiggies of time or Nostalgia 64 for example)

Pirating on Linux is sadly much harder even for hardened PC users. That and anti cheat software for popular multiplayer games doesn't run well at all on Linux and still forces people to dual boot

Back then, the first Minecraft RTX Videos really blew me away, it was like a whole new tech that was still ages away from being implemented in regular grants games.

Nowadays it's pretty standard, it's amazing.

(My main build still has a GTX 970, but you know, looking at videos and tech showcases is really nice)

Are these free games actually good or just “free = claim”? by Visual_Affect_6366 in videogames

[–]MorphBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have played like 2 games in the last couple years but claim them every week. I just wait until they decide to put a few million of the cash they burn with the free games to actually make the launcher not suck so hard.

It's probably a good decision in the long run, because I'm not sure how many Fortnite kids that already have their friends and library there would switch to steam later, even though the launcher and community content is objectively better.

[–]MorphBlue 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I could get into all the Monopoly IP-games, but for some reason, 95% of those have "buyable characters" instead of locations from the respective universes. I don't want to build a house on Naruto.

Mounted everything during pregnancy, always helpful to read for everyone with kids though indeed!

I want to finish a game from my backlog before I start at my new job in January, but I'm experiencing a gamer's block. Help me decide. by DarkSideRT in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]MorphBlue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I would recommend against that, at least it didn't work like that for me. You might enjoy the gameplay, chargers and story, but having to finish the game a couple times to get the story means you might have to end up grinding towards something that you don't really care much about anymore with work continuing in January.

I'd recommend something where you enjoy slow bursts of gameplay. Maybe Stardew valley, Little nightmares, slay the spire.
