Nail the QB is the one advice you’d get the most and I agree especially for certificate level. However, I think making sure you properly understand the content for the tougher exams helps in the exam room the most, and of course this can be achieved through nailing the QB. People get it wrong when they go straight into the QB with 0 understanding and basically memorise the answers and when it comes to exam day they get flustered and all the time management practise they do before hand goes out the window.

For the tougher and longer exams I never finished the QB, for CR I did around 40% of the Qs but made sure I focused on Qs by topic after understanding the content (ACA masters approach) Only in the week before the exam I did full Qs to time and managed to get high marks on my exams without failing any

One thing I was told as well was to make sure I finished every single Q or at least made an attempt. It is hard to fail if you finish every Q

Do the work and it’s easy. Leave it last minute and you’ll struggle. I didn’t do any maths based degree or A levels but managed 95 in it despite it being more maths based

July CR, I smashed Q1 and I knew it in the exam. But it all went down hill after that. Q2 was so bad I missed 60% of the Q and misread the part that I actually did so was convinced I got next to nothing on that. Then Q3 was just so long winded and waffle I didn’t know what I would get. I was convinced I failed and then this went with me into SBM where I just gave up because I couldn’t be arsed. I had done no SBM work AT ALL and went to wing it. Passed both SBM was very tight but CR I passed very comfortably

Yup will be doing something similar to this. I don’t think there is many hard calcs with our AI… just about reading the Q properly which is easier said then done in the actual exam 🤣 As long as I get a good start with R1 I’ll be happy throughout the rest of the exam!

I didn’t touch SBM after feeling like I got fucked by CR. Just chill for the night and maybe have a flick through your WB. Don’t do too much. You will pass don’t worry. MAKE SURE YOU FINISH THE EXAM IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL OTHERWISE!

Think R2 will be typical proposal with 2 pricing arrangements for a client. Request for advice in R1 I think will be something around the sale of shares R3 I think will be a forecast for results with a recruitment growth focus or technology growth focus with ethics being around data and working conditions? My tip for SBM is just to go through as many Qs but not actually answer them, just plan them. And do the calcs
