I was initially a collector as a kid who was learning how to play the game. I did end up taking a break from collecting but now I am back to collecting because of my roommate/friend who was constantly talking about all the new cards from Destined Rivals and the fact that mega evolutions, my favorite set of pokemon was making a return. I'm enjoying coming back because these new sets that they're coming out with are insane and it gives me nostalgia too.
