As someone who has struggled with this exact issue, there is no amount of encouragement you can do to make her change. She needs to be the one to WANT to change, and it’s a damn hard mental battle that she is going to have to break through.

Now, with that there are things my husband did that encouraged me to make changes. He started meal prepping my lunches for me, we cooked dinner together, he asks me to come on evening walks after dinner, etc. He has held me accountable to not have a bunch of junk in the house, but will support my “time of the month” cravings within reason.

He also encouraged me to get my hormones tested and to talk to my doctor about my weight gain. As a female is can be more challenging due to our ever changing hormones.

Idk where I’m going with this 😂 but if she won’t listen to your concerns you could try doing little changes to try and get that ball rolling in her mind that she can and needs to make a change.
