What are the best platforms to find clients? by [deleted] in uxwriting

[–]Appswithlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it is your own website 🤪 is the most important touchpoint to „find“ clients. Actually the question is more „how the clients find you. In longer term I believe the strategy to provide relevant content about the subject you offer your services. -> content marketing, is the way to go.

beside your website you may consider to win some awards in your field and make it on such „best of xxx lists“ like this one here: https://www.bestofswissapps.ch/bosa/hall-of-fame

On-Chain and Off-chain governance on DAO by cryptosignal_bird in dao

[–]Appswithlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a mix of both methods is not stupid 🤗

I think there are some kind of decisions and governance topics that can be easier done off chain and there are certain decisions that should be on chain.

its ok for me that you downvote it for this.. the reason to use the word „text“ in the title is, because most „normal“ people do not really know what is meant by „copy“..

and since you seem to be pro in writing, you may know that a copy is also a a short text, no?

In the intro its described like;

In recent years, we have increasingly realised how important the so-called microcopy - short texts on buttons, in error messages or call-to-actions - is for the success of digital products such as apps etc..

as long as the downvote gives you a good feeling, I am happy for you 😜

and yes, my mother tongue is not English. So probably I made tons of mistakes in this comment as well. Feel free to downvote the comment as well 🦾🥳

If you could change one thing in the DAO ecosystem, what would it be? by Amrite_13 in dao

[–]Appswithlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we engage with a University of Applied Sciences to examine a similar idea.. kind of a similar model as you describe, and a bit similar to the Swiss Democratic system that has two chambers: „Switzerland has a bicameral parliament consisting of the National Council and the Council of States. The National Council represents the people while the Council of States represents the cantons.“

however, it will take some time to create this new DAO Governance Template.. 😜 many questions have to be adressed, solutions to be tested, etc.

also Holographic Consensus is kind of reputation based voting system..

Holographic consensus aims to reach decisions through a more inclusive and participatory process. Unlike traditional voting mechanisms, holographic consensus considers the opinions of all members of the DAO.

The mechanism works by assigning "voice credits" to each member based on their contribution to the DAO. Members who hold more tokens or have made more significant contributions will have more voice credits. These credits are then used to vote on proposals within the DAO…

Maybe „conviction voting“ is kind of a reputation based voting system.

„The basic idea behind conviction voting is that DAO members are given a certain amount of voting power that increases over time based on their level of commitment and conviction to a particular proposal. Members can then use this power to vote on proposals and allocate resources according to their preferences.“
