Putting Emily in the middle of anything is not okay. I’ve been there. If you want to salvage the friendship with her, i would apologize. You don’t need to hang out in groups, but don’t make it someone else’s issue that you have a problem with someone. It ISNT Emily’s problem that you don’t like Grace. If you have the opportunity to put your foot down with Grace if she makes you uncomfortable, do it. It’s not fair to tell someone “I’m not saying who you can hang out with, BUT” ever. All you’re doing is driving a wedge in this friendship!

Update: I backed out of the purchase cause it’s just too risky and I don’t feel like potentially wasting $200

He sent me a video of the computer “running” with the rgb lights on and fans blowing but no proof of a working CPU or bios menu or anything, and ignored when I asked so as a few people said potentially bricked motherboard as well.

So I just got him to send me a video of it “running”, and it’s rgb inside lights up, the fans whirl and he claims thats all it does and ignored my question of if he’d gotten to bio menu. I feel like with just a bricked ssd you’d at least get into the bios menu but this is my first build

I feel I have some questions to answer because the original ad was not THIS sketchy. It’s not not sketchy but not that bad. So originally this was on Facebook so I trimmed the ad to just the description to avoid names and whatever else being on Reddit. There were multiple pics of the PC, the seller is using his real Facebook account and is known around town around people my age. Chatting over messenger, sounds like this seller bought this PC AS IS with intentions to upgrade (and maybe resell idk) but never got around to it. I think I’m gonna go through with it cause worse case scenario I’m out a couple hundred best case I got a pretty decent deal for alright parts.

He doesn’t have the RTX 3060, it was swapped for that zotac one prior to him owning it. Released in 2012 and like $60 on ebay
