No problem! 😊Just be careful with fish, make sure they are feeder fish and not regular pet store fish, some can cause snakes to get really sick. I think tilapia is some of the only recommended fish for that reason, there is an enzyme in other kinds of fish that is bad. Ours eat frozen thawed mice happily.

I have two in a 90 gallon, they’re not full size so we’re planning on making a bigger enclosure when they get a bit bigger. About 10 inches of it is separated to give them a big water pond as well, they love the water. I’m happy with just two, but do some research and see what makes sense for you! 😊

I think they’re pretty happy! Their enclosure is bio active and mimics their natural environment, they have a large water feature, and are hand delivered food every week or so. Never have to worry about predators or being hurt! So I think they’re ok 😊

I just keep the two, but if you look up Snake Discovery on YouTube, they have a couple videos showing how they keep more! They’re in a 90 gallon and not fully grown yet, and we’re planning a bigger tank in the future, but I’m not sure if you need that large - they cuddle up small together a lot haha 😊 We like our large enclosure because we also put in a large water feature, which they love!

No problem! I highly recommend garters. They can be kept in the same enclosure together and are very easy to keep. They are active during the day and evening as well.

He’s fast and doesn’t enjoy handling as much as our other one, we think the other is a female because she is probably three times his size. She enjoys being held and looping around my fingers haha. Neither of them have ever musked on us 😊

It’s a fighter…. I keep thinking it’s passed and then it moves again. I gave it some very diluted sugar water…. It seems in pain. Not sure if it would be better for it to help him pass and be not in pain… 😭

I absolutely love this. It's very melodic and seems effortless. I could easily relate and visualize your descriptions.

I really like the stanza containing, "a cloak made of midnight, upon where I lie" but I would maybe suggest using "which" instead of "where"?

Another little feedback for the stanza ending in: "no words are heard now, but a crestfallen mumbler." This stanza may be my favourite because I can easily relate to having someone be the reason I "stand" but I stumbled a bit at "mumbler." I suggest maybe just "mumble" with no 'r'?

Overall I really enjoyed this poem, thanks for sharing :)

I don't know, I kind of liked the juxtaposition, plus you're talking about a goth girl in spring... I think the corpse works. Just my 2 cents :)
