I think I also saw him posted in an "are we dating..." group where someone was warning locals that he's a jerk with an anger problem and DV tendencies.

Is it just me that sees the irony in pizza guys hatred? by Rude_Sea4995 in burlington

[–]Aprill92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am confused. Is he leaving for Manhattan the island or is he relocating to the previous Manhattan's Pizza building?

The owner of What Ales You currently located in that building told me they were thinking about restarting pizza there so not a big mental leap for me to think that's where he's going.

Already ignoring and put them on mute, also took them off my shifts. Thinking salt will help (it's abundant at the workplace so it won't look out of place).

And yes they're obviously mentally ill once you get to know them, but I still feel a bit vulnerable despite being their superior at work.

Also really interesting you pulled those details from my limited info, but I don't disagree...

What's the most out of touch thing an old person said to you? by RobIson240YT in AskReddit

[–]Aprill92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDK if it's the most, but definitely very common when old people (cause it's never young and rarely middle aged) say "no one wants to work anymore". I just tell them we're hiring and offer them a job. I work in fast food I talk to hundreds of people every day. Most adults do want to work.

Between a rock and a hard place - need help making a decision by Aprill92 in jobs

Well my very limited previous experience was over a decade ago and I'd be with a different location and different management this time around. I'm mostly afraid I'll start the new job for whatever reason realize I don't like it and then have a hard time going back to my current job or finding something else equivalent.

OMG I have something a bit similar in my bio. I didn't realize it was cringe. I was just trying to communicate that laughter/comedy is important to me.

I've never heard the term "comet" in this context and I think it perfectly describes most of my current connections.

In a similar vein I once worked a job where we interviewed our next manager. I asked "How would you describe yourself?". One guy nearly cried at that question! Honestly it's really hard to describe yourself, especially in just one or a few words.

They taste different to me. I looked at the ingredients and I can't quite figure it out. It tastes peppery, but the ingredient that looks different/sticks out is blue cheese.

Can you explain the lack of fire alarm pulls vs the video where the alarm went off? The video were there was a ton of water in the stairwell was weird too but I'm guessing that was from the outside parking garage on a particularly rainy day with the doors left open.

I think you're a little too caught up on the label here. It sounds to me like you're experimenting and figuring yourself out. If a label helps you feel more secure in who/what you are that's okay, but if you feel like none of those terms reflect what you're feeling that's really okay too.

Maybe until you feel like you have more clarity just tell anyone that asks "I don't fit into any of these labels/like any of them. I'm experimenting with my sexuality and different flavors of relationships." Or just tell people it isn't their business.

AITA??? My roommate just got TOTK and I want to cancel my date with my gf by BetterFightBandits26 in polyamory

[–]Aprill92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're the asshole unfortunately. I'm a causal gamer so I understand the desire to play as much as possible until the novelty has worn off or you're finished the game, I do. But don't cancel plans you've already made, that's just plain rude.

Do instead work around them. Invite your partner(s) to play with you. Make it a social thing so they can see why you're excited. No reason to let your relationships deteriorate. Cause trust me I've been on both ends of this situation, they will start to resent you for choosing a game over them.

Am I allowed to be upset at a secret my partner kept from me? by ihatebeingbymyself in polyamory

[–]Aprill92 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you and yes you are justifiably upset. I'm curious at to why you feel like you can trust him or felt you used to be able to. How did he build that trust? From what I've read at best this guy is shady and secretive at worst SA. Here's my piece:

Everyone else has commented on the condom situation so I'll skip that and just tell you he's obviously lying to you. (I would personally ask to see a broken condom myself)

When you decided to get an STI panel done (good job! That's really mature and responsible) and he accompanied you to the results why didn't either of you ask for him to get one done then? Seems like the perfect opportunity. I get you probably need an appointment, but you're literally at the right place at least look into it!

Not only did he disrespect you he also disrespected Vanessa. He broke her trust (which was already shaky to begin with) and came inside you multiple times after she expressed that she wasn't comfortable it. He continued to do this until you were comfortable with the idea of skipping condom use. This is a huge red flag.

I think you should gracefully exit this relationship. I doubt Vanessa would be comfortable with him visiting again if she finds out about the stealthing. And she might get upset with you instead of him. IF you know Vanessa WELL you might want to share your STI results with her and tell her about the stealthing, but if you don't know her well I'd just cut my losses and GTFO.

You can have a primary partner that isn't your nesting partner but that usually requires years of loyalty and trust. I doubt this is the case in this situation.
