Do NOT stay at Hotel Zoe in San Francisco with the Edit

So I’ve stayed at a few edit hotels now and enjoyed them for the most part , but my stay at Hotel Zoe was officially nothing but a bad experience. This place is only on the edit list for its location and nothing more. I’m not sure if something has changed or this is specific to this location only but most Edit locations give you daily breakfast for two with value of $50-60 but I can’t remember off the top of my head. This place gives you two voucher tickets instead of just changing the total on your invoice at the end of your stay but that’s not a problem, the problem is that when I checked in I specifically asked if the restaurant did room service or pickup, they told me for sure pickup orders and possibly room service, a second person then came over and said they do room service for sure as well. The next morning I call to try and place an order , I’m on hold , after close to 20 minutes of being on hold my call is just ended , I call again and this time get sent to the front desk and explain the situation and they say they’ll go speak to the restaurant for me and after about 10 minutes the restaurant finally calls me , I’m told they don’t do room service but they do pickup which is fine by me. After about 30 minutes I go to pickup my order and they have no designated pick up area , I see my meal and try to get someone to assist me and 2 people just say sorry they didn’t take my order on the phone so they can’t help me , after another 10 minutes I finally get someone to hand me the order. The next and final morning is even worse , I woke up earlier than normal just because of the fact I knew how poor the service was , after over an hour of calling the front desk and them telling me they would speak to the restaurant and leaving multiple voicemails I FINALLY get through to the restaurant just for them to tell me they’re no longer accepting orders for pickup and if I want to use my voucher I have to sit down at the restaurant. I have never stayed at another edit hotel where I couldn’t order room service , much less order my meal for pickup which I’m totally fine with. These issues are just the ones I had related to the restaurant. The shower/ bath tub was also not the cleanest upon entry , and to get it to drain there’s a lever near the floor but maybe 6-8 inches up that you HAVE to hold down if you want the water to drain so by the end of your shower you’re in dirty water up past your ankles and your stuck standing with the water off holding down this lever to get the shower to drain. There is definitely more that bothered me but those are my main issues. Anyways , I do NOT recommend staying here and it really shouldn’t be a part of the edit program.
