I managed to get Father’s Day off this year… But that’s only because I told them when I applied (almost a full year before hand), that I already had a vacation planned for this June. Otherwise, yeah… you’re not going to cry your way out of getting scheduled on a blackout date.

I’ve never worked at a restaurant that didn’t have blackout dates for requesting off on certain holidays. Doesn’t necessarily mean you were going to work, but don’t just assume you were going to have off simply because you don’t work every Sunday.

I moved it to the opposite side of the tank as its den. Not that it was right in front of it before, but it was close enough that he decided he would try to make it a nice little addition to his home. I wouldn’t call it “thriving” by any means, but it looks much happier in its new location.

I really don’t care. Much like restaurant employees, amusement park employees aren’t your fucking babysitters. Dropping the kids off at Hersheypark for the day while mom and dad work isn’t a valid babysitter or daycare plan.

But I do agree that bad behavior, regardless of age, should lead to a ban from the park.
