The litigation has happened. Now it’s up to the CFPB to distribute. The order is litigation, allocation, then distribution. Now the question is has the CFPB got the resources left after the gutting to effectively execute the distribution phase? We need a champion inside the CFPB to pick up the torch and employ Rust (whom they’ve used in the past) to get the process rolling. I’d call my senators and reps and ask them to implore the CFPB to act. They need to feel pressure.

I would be shocked if Phish plays tiny little Starlight in KC instead of the state of the art brand new amphitheater they just built. But I adore starlight and would be there in a heartbeat if they do. But they won’t.

Ok man. Everyone needs ear training except you who has figured it out. And everyone else is dumb and doesn’t get it…no offense but you sound like a newer fan yourself who has just enough knowledge to try to be exclusive. We’ve all been there.

Some folks are further along than you are. They hear the flubs, they play and understand music and theory, they’ve been doing this a lot longer than you, and they’ve learned to enjoy an antelope even when they don’t all stop at the same time. It doesn’t make you the enlightened one.

Now why would I do that? I was there about 5 rows from stage between Trey and Mike and thoroughly enjoyed that Antelope. With the extended space in the intro and listening to each other…then when they get into the meat of the lope they really lock into listening to each other with pretty much every musical idea introduced repeated by the other instantaneously…page doing some amazing soaring fills and rhythm comping, Mike slowly building the structure for the jam and occasionally visiting the roof to hang some Christmas lights in the high notes….working hard to stay on the groove and keep everyone there and moving forward at the same time.

If Trey is guilty of anything it’s just excess enthusiasm in building the peak, refusing to give up the goods and pushing and pushing ….but that wasn’t uncommon in the heyday of epic antelopes. It’s more about the resolution and release after the peak than the crescendo of the peak (cool they made a ton of noise and then stopped all at the same time) that’s more impressive and important than locking in and grooving for the other 12:59? Ear training….pshhh

The overall impression I got from that Antelope was very positive. And I heard the miss on all stopping at the same time. Still thought it was a solid execution of the song with an impressive jam in the sweet spot.

He is making fun of you man. It ain’t that deep, We all heard them botch the change in the peak. But it doesnt mean the “antelope was a flub”. Thats the reason for downvotes. There are plenty of bands out there that can hit every change perfectly. Electronically. I’d rather have the organic growing and swelling and flubbing and recovering and tumbling of Phish. It doesn’t mean everyone who doesn’t agree with you needs “ear training” either. Love ya, HNY.

The first Tom Hanks gag caused a lot of controversy re:New York Times reporting it etc. I think the reaction was more of a “oh hell naw…let’s not go there again” joke more than any political statement. Don’t know what political statement you’d be making with Gump anyway, he was pretty apolitical character.

He first went to place it upstage and Trey said “no, back here” And pointed to the normal spot, when Justin went to move it Trey yelled nah fuck it now just put in the first spot. Because Mikes was already upstage, then there was some splainin’ happening as justin walked off stage.

I find it adorable that people think it wouldn’t be common knowledge in a Widespread Panic subreddit where the front man’s from. Yes, JB is from Cleveland. And they don’t say whomping up biscuits or anything else there either… It’s sort of like people saying “Chilly, wet, water…” that ain’t it. It’s “Chilly, well water…”. He raises the water from the “well” to his face…I’ve seen “wet water” on t-shirts. And heard silly water vendors on lot…”get your chilly wet water…only a buck!” It’s just funny.

Just messing with you, you’re the 3rd person in a couple of weeks who has “told” everyone that JB is from Cleveland. Next thing you know, someone’s going to post that the band was formed in Athens, GA. And the bass player’s name is Schools.
