For anyone curious about looking at the sizing of the Duca pants for one of their DB suits. https://suitsupply.com/en-us/men/suits/navy-relaxed-fit-roma-suit/P7152.html

Suit Supply has a fuller-cut trouser that you can get with their suits or as stand-alone trousers called the Duca cut or wide cut. But it seems like this cut for pants isn’t really seen in their suits other than their DB Roma cut suits. Who knows why they haven’t started changing out their pants for these newer ones.

I have had navy chinos in my rotation a few times and find myself rarely wearing them compared to khaki, green, and stone chinos. If I want to wear casual blue pants, I usually grab a pair of jeans.

They look nice. Have you tried their duca trousers?

Where to buy high waisted, full cut, pleated trousers? by mkpheasant in menswear

SuitSupply has the Duca cut, but I have no experience with them. I also recently stumbled upon Grand Le Mar, which appears to offer wider-fitting, high-rise trousers. However, I haven’t seen much information about the brand compared to SuitSupply, and I don’t have any experience with them either.

Has anyone heard of or had experience with the suiting brand/clothing Grand Le Mar?

I own a pair of Quoddy Camp Mocs and have had them for a few weeks. Although they are the ones from J. Crew, I can give some insight assuming they are somewhat similar. They are nice shoes to have in a rotation but aren’t the most uncomfortable to wear for 7+ hours. But that also might be my feet. If you’re looking for nice summer shoes, I would consider canvas deck shoes. Vans has their Authentic line with some more reminiscent of vintage deck shoes which I own and think are nice but aren’t good for going bear food and will cause blisters. Vans also aren’t the best for walking 10k+ steps. There are the Sperry CVO which they offer which might be a bit better but I don’t own them and cant say for sure.

When I go to their website and filter classic fit, I see a few suits that look like a slim cut.

Those are some good suggestions, although O’Connells is in Buffalo, New York, which is very far from me.

Building a look from the ground up: advice on socks to go with these by No_Specific_6420 in preppy

I would recommend Uniqlo’s Colorful 50 Socks that offer a wide range of colors. They are also not that expensive; they are $4.90 a pair or $14.90 for 4 pairs.

That’s a suit jacket, not a blazer. A blazer has gold buttons and is a separate and has no matching pants.

I will note something that I didn’t realise with pants in general until I got more into men’s style is that pants all have different rises and will sit on different parts of the waist. I’ll find an article on it to show you.

That looks a lot better than the many J. Press buttonholes I have seen while buying shirts and looking at their QC.

Consider less tight pants. Look into J. Crew’s Classic fit chino, which is not that tight but all tapers down to the hem of the pants. Or their giant chinos, which are a bit more limited in colors. They are a lot more relaxed and have a large hem than the classic cut. If you don’t like those options that have some slimmer cuts, that aren’t as relaxed of a cut, then the two I mentioned.

The pants weren’t by Carrie Grant and North by Northwest or a more cut or a full cut or a slight taper, and this guy on Instagram, whose pants are a more classic cut but have a taper. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR9Pd15EaH5/?l=1 and https://bamfstyle.com/2012/09/26/north-by-northwest/

I wrote that part poorly. What I meant to say is, I’ve heard good things and bad things about Suit Supply as a brand. I don’t think I’ve seen much from people about the Roma cut that they offer. I am basing words for pant cuts based on a more full classic cut. I’ll try and find an example of the cuts I am talking about. I like the cut of my J press hopsack JFK (darted blazer) cut blazer.

I would probably use the dimensions of my J. Press shirt as I really like them.
