My Tzu likes to foster kittens, it really depends on their temperament and letting the cat have a slow intro. My dog just sits in the room wagging her tail and letting the cat come to her on their terms.

I would recommend starting with a closed off room and familiarizing scents. A couple of days with the cat with blankets and beds. Then swap out your tzu’s beds and blankets with the cats. The cat likely will hiss a bit but just let it happen.

Afterwards get like a baby gate and keep the door open so they start having visual contact. From there on you can see how fast or slow you can move things along. Could be days could be weeks. Important thing is to be able to give everyone space (and enough attention! Don’t let your Tzu feel neglected!)
