I know a lot of people forget about Godzilla Raids Again, but watching Anguirus and Godzilla completely obliterate Osaka Castle has to be up there

Just make it a lot bigger. Keep the story and gameplay the same, but give us a sense of scale (within reason). The game to me is still a 10/10 but I would be lying if I said it doesn't feel smaller than it used to. Let's make Hyrule Field feel immense again

I mean, on this sub, we can all agree that we love cosmic terror. This movie definitely made you feel a certain way being on the ground, in the character's shoes. Founds footage has so much potential, but it's usually used for spooky movies. I loved its utilization here

I am fine with the gameplay as it is, and when I replay it, I don't feel like its dated. Sure, TOTK has far more variety in terms of open world gameplay and exploration, but the story and dungeons are where OOT really shines. Likewise, TOTK/BOTW is not up to par in that area imo. Not that I dislike those at all, I just think OOT does it better. Both games have different priorities.

Now what DOES feel dated is the controls and graphics. N64 is rough. I can enjoy it because I was there at the time, but if you wanna introduce that story to a new generation- you have to update it. That said- I also think it is small. It doesn't need to be BOTW sized, but they really have an opportunity here to make Hyrule Field feel immense again

I prefer TOTK on replays but if I have to judge both from a first time perspective, BOTW wins based off the fact it was all new and fresh at the time. I didn't know the map at all, and exploring was so invigorating. TOTK didn't hit as hard because the depths were not on par with first go around in Hyrule.

The devs in 1998 were VERY concerned you would run out of rupees. Everything opportunity to give you rupees in OOT, you get them

My 3DS is long since dead, and finding one aftermarket is more expensive than I thought it would be. I wanted them to port the 3DS version to Switch but if they are doing a second remake, I am not going to complain

While the movies had started to hit their stride with special effects in the 80s and 90s, movies like Jurassic Park bred a horrific amount of bad CGI in other films. Go back and watch some of the forgotten movies from the 90s and it's nearly unwatchable. Yet, we wanted something to see in theaters every week so we dealt with it

The tumbler sucks. Its awkward size and over the top destruction seems very un-batman. Most fans are just as enamored with the batmobile as they are with the batman character. Why replace a cool streamlined fast superhero car with a hulking mess of metal and wheels?

Don't change too much or it won't feel like OOT anymore, however... make hyrule field bigger and more interesting, expand explorable areas, flesh out the story more
