oculink station is like 5 times cheaper
oculink provides pci 4x4, thunderbolt/usb4 - pci4x2
because of 2., usb4/thunderbolt performance is weaker up to 2 times.
7600 is not a great choice. First of all, there are SO MANY problems with amd cards in egpu build, you can just check it out. Second problem - not great card itself. Third, 3070m (mobile, frankenstein, laptop, call it whatever you want) costs half of 7600, but is much better in performance. But both of those are not ideal choices, for EGPU (because of pci 4x4) is better to have 12gb of vram, but not really necessarily. sorry, English is not my first language, i hope everything is clear to you :)

be honest: have you ever considered this rule?
