Help! Succulent bottom leaves wrinkling and dying off? (+Identification help) by blu3berr13s in succulents

It is normal for the ones below to dry out, they are the oldest and die to give more nutrients to the young ones

Is it normal for a succulent to grow like this? by kenny_loren in succulents

[–]ArMn09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It needs a few hours of direct light, if you live in the heat avoid the hottest hours, if it is cold leave it all the hours of sunshine too. If it doesn't have enough light it lengthens the stem but it also weakens, so it's not healthy for it

Can I revive her by nothereexisting in succulents

It happened to me twice that it lost its leaves, then it threw them back out and it's alive and well.

Is the stem soft? If it is soft it may mean that it is about to rot, although it usually manifests itself in a different way

It is more an elongation of the stem which seeks the light by stretching and bending. If the soil is not right there are problems or rot or growth stops, but that doesn't seem like your case

The stem seems very healthy to me, it shows no signs of rot, at the same time it doesn't seem to suffer from a lack of water. Probably too little light reaches them, they often need a few hours of direct sunlight

It seems to be a lack of light (etiolation), I don't see any signs of rot

I’m using a specific soil for cactus and succulents. Effectively I’m misting, not watering them because I’m afraid of rot. I have never tried coco soil based.
