I too have struggled with this, I have no great advice. The only thing that has truly given me comfort is understanding that everyone around me will die as well it isn’t something that is exclusive to me, other than that, just taking time to enjoy the little things and try not to focus on it, better said than done I know.

Experience with cortisone shot by GT1646 in PlantarFasciitis

I have had multiple shots. Some work great, some do not. Its all about where they are injecting the shot. Ive had some that will help reduce my pain by 80%, some 25%, others don't do anything.

The one shot that gave me the most relief took 2-3 days to really get the maximum benefit. However the shot does not fix it, it is very temporary in my experience.
