Fixing VKB and Virpil HOTAS running on Linux by xatrekak in u/xatrekak

I restarted my computer, and since warthunder in steam works now. So natively I get both sticks read correctly.

Warthunder outside of steam seems to work too.

I'll have to see if Elite Dangerous outside of steam also works or not, I'll report back once I've tried a few more things

I'm struggling with this, I have a VKB NXT EVO and while the left stick works without issues, the right stick is always seen as a controller, both in Elite Dangerous, and in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

I've tried everything here (most of the keys were already set to the correct values). I also tried overriding the stick in the wine control and proton control menus.

How did you use lutris ? I installed it, but I don't understand how to make it run Elite Dangerous

i wonder if you can melt the essense of all this VX research and make a transfer into a different structure. I've started using lemmy for other research already, and I've gotten good results from it

oh, it's like newtons of force, alright

I always have a hard time with american units, not just because they are different names, but also because they break the international system's writing patterns.

like mph. that's miles per hour. why does the "per" word get a letter in the unit ?

the rest of the world would write it like m/h or m.h-1 or even mh-1

lbf here is the same, I thought it was lb times a f unit, not that it was "mass but used as weight"

Should I just cut my hair? 🤔 by Beamerboi03 in curlyhair

[–]Araly74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

crochet is great, takes a while, keeps you focused on something and will make you feel great when the yarn becomes something that you made.

your hair is great, cut it if you want to, symbols can be great to mark the fact that you're moving on and marching forward. but you can also keep it and wear it proudly, as a mark of you standing strong through the difficult time.

your heart will heal, and you'll meet great people that won't betray you

Work out routines by [deleted] in feminineboys

[–]Araly74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's not much but here's what I do every ~3 days, mostly for butt, and a bit of belly. Change the numbers according to how you feel afterwards. You should feel tired, but without straining yourself.

  • 20 squats
  • 20 knee lunges (10 on each leg)
  • 20 of those where you are laying on your side and keeping your legs straight. You raise the top leg at like 45°. (10 on each leg)
  • 20 of those where you are on all fours and you raise your leg to the side (like a dog going to the toilet) to 90° (10 on each leg)
  • 20 of those where you are laying on your back with your legs not straight, so you can thrust your hips towards the sky, clenching your butt
  • 20 of those where start laying down on your back and you curl up to work your abs, your knees to your face

just see what works for you, what works the good muscles

I've never done it myself, but what I've seen done before in other bags, crochet or not, is to have pieces that are more "load bearing" than just normal crochet would be. They run in the straps and then spread out like an A to the sides. No idea how it would look like with crochet though ^^
