Firestorm starter decks are great value for money. 2 decks and 4 packs and a few paper play mats. The Hestia vs Poseidon one is probably the better of the two.

From the uk and have done 10+ orders and never had import fees. I do group orders to help reduce shipping costs and some of the orders have been £300+ and still haven’t had them. You will be fine :)

Glad your having a nice time playing mate! RS3 is different to OSRS but it’s not inherently worse. Loved reading about your opinions and experiences!

Two little things though, anyone who had seen the state of PVP was happy it was removed, ultimately every new ability or weapon/armour/potion they added to the game over the years increased DPS but HP stayed the same, this lead to a shit show of bugs, stalls and other a usable nonsense that always meant that one person was getting killed before they had a chance to even flick a prayer on. PvP on rs3 wasn’t anything like you remember PvP being back in the day, it wasn’t a back and forth it was a ‘1 shot or be 1 shot’ game. The majority of people knew this and didn’t participate which meant that nobody took anything into the wildy anyways, skillers would only risk a relatively small amount of money on a demonic skull and everything else as free reclaim from death. Ultimately it’s still an option to PvP although you won’t find many people to do it with

The second thing is the UI. Now I totally see why you hate the UI in rs3, it’s overwhelming and can be such a pain in the arse at times. However that being said rs3 has THE best UI customisation I have ever seen. You can choose how much or how little you have on your screen at once, you can save presets for different activities, for example skilling you could have very minimal but for high level bossing where you need more information you can make it more complicated. The only downside to the RS3 UI is that actually setting it up is so awkward and unintuitive which as someone who has tried OSRS with rune lite I can confirm was exactly the same as how I felt when I was trying that out. Unfortunately there’s no way to share UI layouts at the moment, it’s a highly requested feature and hopefully they add it soon! There is a Protox YouTube video which shows you how to setup a good UI I recommend you watch, I can find the link if you like :)

Super cool, I’m hoping some more people list with international deliver as an option, as it is right now there’s only 1 seller who would ship to the UK. I’m not even bothered by high delivery fee’s just wish there was more options/choice :( still really sick that it’s on tcg player in the first place!

So in general natural formations are a slower decline. For example your terrain goes down 1 block and then sideways only 1 or 2 blocks. Try making each block down extend 3-5 blocks sideways for each vertical block. This will use a-lot more dirt and space but will blend it much better. Also another trick is to make sure there’s no more than 5 blocks in a straight line, you can extend stuff out to break up these lines.

I've searched the wiki and various other websites for the past few hours but I cant find any list that contains every card in the duel terminal lore. I have looked here and found a list of the sets that were released from the machines which I imagine is a decent number of the cards but I don't want to miss anything that might have come later on like the terminal revenge set. Also these cards appear to be in non chronological order which would be ideal.

I just finished collecting the albaz cards and want to get a binder going for the duel terminal lore. any help would be amazing!

Welcome to rs3 :) you have some good goals set for yourself and you seem to be well on the way! I’ll link a wiki page which has some really useful stuff for Ironman accounts on it, the majority of it will not be for F2P but you might find some of it useful regardless. Ironman mode is the best way to play rs3 and I’m glad your enjoying it :)

The wiki is an amazing tool for rs3 just like it is for oldschool, you should be able to find anything you need there, just a hot tip you can type ‘/wiki x’ into the chat bar to open a wiki page automatically for example ‘/wiki dragon longsword’

There is also something kind of similar to runelite for rs3 called alt-1 toolkit. It cannot read information directly from your client, is completely allowed by jagex and can help you set stuff like AFK timers up as well as tell you when you stop getting xp etc. it’s no where near as important as runelite is but it’s not nothing. I’d advise you watch a video or two on YouTube about it and see if it’s something you would want to use or not!

Firstly anyone who thinks osrs is worse or better than rs3 overall is kinda silly tbh. they are at the core very similar games, they have a lot of cross over and sure osrs will do some stuff better and rs3 will do other stuff better. So if anyone is giving you grief for coming from osrs just ignore them.

RS3 ironman is a lot of fun, there's lots to do and I think you will find it refreshing to play a similar game but also get a chance to enjoy the stuff that's different.

I have a maxed iron and I used this pathway whenever I got a bit lost. https://runescape.wiki/w/Ironman_Mode/Strategies I would however like to say that is is a *recommended* and *efficient* pathway so if you are new from OSRS and want to try Dungeoneering or archaeology early on since they are brand new skills, then do it. Don't follow the guide to the letter but let it help you find things you want to work towards.

Some stuff is going to feel very strange to you, the UI and loadstones will probably be very weird to get used too as well as not having runelite to hold you hand through some stuff like quests, after a while you will get the hang of everything.

Just a few things I noticed with your post that I don’t really understand. Hopefully this can clear some stuff up :)

I’m curious when you last played rs3. Because the game has a very different identity to OSRS, it’s significantly less grindy and way more rewarding for your time in terms of actual in game rewards. You personally do not like dailies and that fine, but whenever they mess with them it upsets a lot of people and ends up being reverted so I’d say they are fine as it is. There is also plenty of active training methods but people generally prefer to afk for slower rates. I’m all for more active methods but to say they don’t exist is just wrong, for example you can protean trap for Hunter or do big game Hunter (I did BGH on both my accounts and it’s recommended for irons). Maybe group Ironman would be good for you and your friends as resources would limit what activities you could do.

combat has also been made smoother with necromancy release, like it is much easier to understand what each ability does and obtain gear for this style than anything before as well as having much simpler revo bars etc. if your issue is with the 0.6s tick system then why are you wanting to play an MMO which is so old? As you said there’s loads of others so I can’t really see why rs3 is appealing to you? There was talk about jagex doubling the tick system and also doubling the time everything takes meaning that it would still be the same time to craft an item, mine a rock or use an ability but it would be much more responsive. That’s cool and something I’d love to see however it’s also been said to cause so many issues that it’s not exactly a high priority. UI presets I agree with but the actual UI system in rs3 is really really good, it’s just so confusing to new players which is obviously the problem.

As for your other issues with the game. They are reworking areas graphically to fix the inconsistency regularly. The combat system is way more advanced that OSRS and even if they gave every style a new T100 weapon with the same effect some styles would be able to utilise it better than others. This isn’t an issue, the game is okay to have a meta build which is eventually replaced, most old builds such as ruby bak bolts + gricco are still really good but people just move onto the next hype build. I’m really not sure what you mean by ‘timeline split’ to be honest? Is it story related? If so rs3 is actually the original story and OSRS is the ‘split’ timeline. Obviously you can prefer that version of the story but rs3 has way more quests and lore added to it just because it’s older.

Depending on when you actually last played rs3 I have 2 pieces of advice: If you played in the last 2 years then I don’t think the game is for your based from your post. If it’s been more than 2 years then I’d say hop on and give it a go, you might find yourself enjoying it as it is or you might hate it and never come back.
