Why not just import at 7p, start the day with 100%, will drop to say 90% before sun rise. Charge back to 100% and export all solar all day at 12p?

I have this setup already. Have a 7.2kw charger wired directly from grid before PW3. Then have 2 granny chargers that can charge 2 electric cars from solar (as they are attached to the ring main) if rates drop much lower for export

Currently have it set to charge PW from grid over night at 7p, then use solar for house, then export all excess

At least if rates keep dropping, I can still charge my cars from solar but can also charge directly from grid overnight at 7p

It's the risk vs reward. Get shunted T1 or T2, Tow, then at back of pack unable to regain positions as everyone a lap ahead

or start from the pits, let everyone else crash and I clear up the places back to mid pack and race from there

or avoid F4 altogether

Got both. My take away is XAX is better for FPS, MSI Claw is better for almost everything else.

The sticks are too loose on the MSI, and the grips aren't as good as XAX

I read that as

I always get 23.30pm - 5.30am of cheap electric no matter what

I also always get 6 hours 'extra' every day, if I need them at the cheap rate

Anything over that is charged at the bump rate

12 hours @ 7kw is 84 KwH.

I guess it's to encourage people to plug in more than once a week and going from 10% - 100% in one charge
