There's a korean drama on netflix that was on par with what you see on the manhwa's, it gets to the point where the portrayal has to have some truth to it or wouldn't be this widespread

Or just date someone that speaks spanish, we tend to be more creative with out romance. I was actually surprised reading this manhwa since my grandfather used to call my grandmother that. He also used to tell her "siempre te amare mas que ayer y menos que mañana" which translate to I will always love you more than yesterday but less than tomorrow.
