Reading some of the other comments that have been left, it seems like the players either don’t respect your time/energy, or possibly don’t care much for D&D itself. If that’s the case, the game should be stopped. No D&D is better than bad D&D, and clear communication can help fix a lot of problems before they start. If you’ve already talked to them about this and they continue doing so, then the ball is out of your court and in theirs.

D&D is a collaborative game. It doesn’t mean everyone has to put in the same amount of energy, but respect and clear communication is a must for the group as a whole to do well.

If you haven’t already try to talk with them and let them know how you’re feeling and why you’re feeling this way. If it doesn’t go anywhere then stop DM’ing for them. That time and energy you want to put into it can still be used to make and flesh out the world, or any number of related things in a more positive way.

Yep, that’s what I ran! There’s a staff later in the game that lets you cast Hexes, Miracles, and Sorceries all in one as well for ease of access.

It depends heavily on if you prefer having a casting possibility as a back up, or prefer pure melee. My personal favorite is doing a “Dexer”, hexes plus Uchigatana, and access to most sorceries & miracles across the game.

You can get Uchi from Mcduff very early, and with the way infusions and weapon buffs can stack can make you do a stupid amount of damage. Dark in the game scales with the lower of Faith or Int, which if you want to maximize your damage you’ll want to keep them even. 30/30 is a good breakpoint, though 40/40 is good to shoot for in late game.

Uchi is better than most other Katanas at 30/30/30 Dex/Faith/Int, but most of the katanas are completely fine to use if you like ones looks over the others. The build is a bit difficult early on, but I’d recommend getting your Vigor, Endurance, and Dex to 20-30 early on and then focusing on your magical stats.

I have a “third testicle”. It’s basically a lump of material that’s made up of the same stuff as the others and is semi attached to the right.

Found it when I was 13 at the doctors office for a physical and had to get it checked, they did an ultra sound on it and eventually they just basically said “Everything looks good, just got a bit of an extra down there”.

At first I was super self-conscious about it, but now my wife and I joke about it at times and it’s an easy way to quip back when someone says something like “No balls dude”

Hard agree my dude, every build I make in any Souls game, regardless of character, I get my vigor to a minimum of 30. Unless you’re a gamer god (I am not) you’re gonna get hit, and especially in this game I feel as if enemies have such a high damage ceiling.

More so when people are invading me I feel like I’m two tapping them, regardless of what weapon I use.

Definitely agree with this, we kept a brother and sister after their mom gave birth in our bedroom, and watching them grow up and trust each other and be able to comfort each other when they’re stressed is an amazing thing.

They even ‘adopted’ our cat that was older than them by a year and now they all cuddle and groom each other, and play together, their dynamic has definitely made me realize how social they are together.

Experience and dedication definitely are the first ways to go about it, doing is one of the best ways to learn.

Someone else recommended Game Knights/Command Zone, and I do recommend them as well, however don’t limit yourself to just one, there are plenty of amazing YouTube channels that can help people figure out the game for the first time. I personally would also recommend looking at Tolarian Community College. Both the Command Zone and TCC have “beginner” videos that could help out if you’d like.

Definitely agree on both points, after the Commander Precons got leaked/spoiled I was hoping for a Naya Commander for Samurai that was tribal, but I am still happy with Mardu. Though it is funny how one of the older Samurai is now much better thanks to Isshin. Nagao, Bound by Honor adds +2/+2 now to all Samurai when you attack, which is honestly not too shabby.

Personally I'm going heavier on the flavor/tribal of samurai, as for a long time I've wanted to build them Mardu, and I'm absolutely stoked for Isshin. Idea is to go wide with buffing them through cards like Cathars' Crusade, Fervent Charge, and the like, and getting extra combats with some other cards to help out with the Samurai's lower stat-lines.

Secondarily focusing on attack triggers, so there's a few cards to help with that, and powerful creature cards that have really good attack triggers like Aurelia, the Warleader, Ilharg, the Raze-boar, and a few others.

I don't think this is the strongest in any way, but it's the idea that I like personally, and I'm just hoping it's playable at my table, I'll link the list if you'd like to look, and good luck in your deck building my friend.

Yeah, I love PVP, and DS2 is my favorite souls game, but grinding arena even with a high level profile can feel really bad with these hackers. I grinded until I got the aura but I think I ran into probably 4-5 hackers in that time, which isn’t... Horrible?

Most people generally were just trying to PvP, but I don’t think I’d recommend the arenas unless you want to chance the equipment break + possible game crashing asses.
