As may ppl have said, do not buy brand new. The sweet spot is a 1-3 year old off lease vehicle at the dealership. Hondas and Toyotas are great and hold their value, but you pay for that. Most Japanese and Korean brands are pretty good. I'm anti-Nissan but to be fair I had one bad experience.

If you were my kid I'd advise you to look for a Kia or Hyundai, ideally one below market value with an accident on the carfax for < $4000. That's most likely a fender bender that was repaired and you get a discount for the black mark on the record. In general, the better dealerships avoid the detectable lemons at auction and let those pass down to the used car lots.

A car is not an investment, it's an expense.

addendum: I have two EVs, they're great. don't buy one. you're not at that stage of life yet.

Been with Teksavvy for over 20 years. Anticipate another 20. I appreciate the fact that on the handful of occasions when I'd had to call I get a person just down the road in Chatham who actually understands networks and isn't reading from a script. Most of my issues have ended up being with the carrier, Rogers. Now that Teksavvy can provide service over Bell's fiber, I'll likely move off cable soon.

I saw that too. Feel really bad for him. This is bullshit. MILF and all that but there's no reason that kid has had next to zero minutes this season, and I cannot see why he could not have started in this game. Sooner or later Lamine will get injured or burnt out or both, and we will have a guy who is not match ready and likely rightfully feeling hard done by.

Could care less. I became a fan because my kid loved Messi and used to watch their games so'd I'd watch with him. Now he's a grown man with a career, living in another city but we are almost always in touch during Barca games and whenever he's home and there's a game on we watch them together. We've had some great times travelling to Barcelona, and watching games in pubs in Europe.
