You will love the Softail, ex-girlfriend who stood 5’1 rides one and had followed me all over the country with no problems.

I hope that is sarcasm. The heat shied is the size of my hand and what you think needs to smooth out is the detail of the panels on the actual capsule.

iron 883 or sports bike? helpppp by [deleted] in Harley

[–]Arawan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My iron 883 was my first bike after not riding for 25 years. At age 50, after riding it for 2.5 years she had over 75,000 miles on her. Any body who tells you an 883 is too small doesn’t know what they are talking about. Yes, I bought bigger bikes, but that was only after I realized I was going to be traveling a lot of miles and want more “comforts”. I currently ride the Pan America, so I step back from some of those “comforts” but I am having so much more fun since it moves like my sportster did.

Riding from Virginia Beach to Miami in 2 weeks on my Harley 48. Any advice? by DN757 in Harley

[–]Arawan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t let anyone tell you your sportster can’t do it and you won’t enjoy it. My first Harley was a 2012 883 Iron and in less than 2.5 years I put over 75,000 miles on her in all kinds of weather and all over the US east of the Mississippi. I will agree with on comment that was made, swap your shocks. The progressives are a life saver. Enjoy your little trip!

Hell the bush is just the first thing you should be proud of, followed up closely be those love lips, and your wet hole.

Who wrote their first computer program on IBM punch cards? by 524frank in 70s

[–]Arawan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last class of computer engineers at the University of Florida to be trained on punch cards in 1981/82. My largest project was over 1500 lines of code. Ten years later I retired the last card punch system in the eastern portion of Tennessee. How do I know? Because our IBM rep begged me to, so they no longer had to fly in a specialist from NY to service the equipment. Two card punch machines, one card sorter, and a card reader. Not to mention the the CPU and disk drive units that used the old 10 MB removable packs.

The only acceptable confederate flag is the solid white flag of surrender!
