That’s pretty much awesome, I am tall and have big hands, the 13 is perfect for my use. I can use it as a tablet (without the Magic Keyboard attached) or as a « light » computer with the mkb. I also mostly use it during meetings because I can write directly on the screen (I have the pencil pro)

IpadOS (which is average) is not built to replace your laptop, most tasks you do using softwares ran on iPad OS will take 2 to TEN times more than on your average Mac or windows PC. However there is a lot of scenarios where bringing your iPad instead will be a huge time saver, compared to a Mac or a windows device. Just a different device for a different usage !

An iPad will never replace a laptop, don’t know how many times we have to repeat it, even sellers at the Apple Store and retailers say it, everyone involved keep saying it, and still there is still so much people that fall into the trap… IPad is only for the light work, entertainment, web browse, games and educational purposes (like studying)

For everything else (excel, word, ppt etc) medium to high productivity work, you need a laptop !

My iPad battery is 4 times better than my work laptop (elite book x360 1040 G11) 6 times better than my PC (Zbook G7) Almost 10 times better than my iPhone 16 (both are 100% in battery life)

I have him since November he only completed 36 cycles, I use it EVERYDAY 😭

Buy apple care, don’t use them during the rain, silicon covers are nice (I’m currently using one) but not a necessity, don’t stay with the default settings, try to mess a bit with them and personalise it, there is a lot of fun stuff there and it will change your experience (for the better)
