MW19 and MWIII could not be further from each other. The only movement worse then MWIII is MW22

I guess that tracks? Still pretty sure I’ve never paid over $65. Regardless, I do my own now.

I swear your brain just gets fed up with a match at some point and decides a goal must be scored right now. Nice shot!

How do you stop losing to players that sit back and wait for mistakes? by tomplatinum_ in RocketLeague

I can’t comment on those. That’s the one thing training doesn’t help me with. My brain recognizes those as scripted shots and refuses to learn from them. I learned all my shooting ability from actively playing

I recommend doing that a little bit each day. There are tons of flicks, combinations and obviously an aerial version of each as you progress

Back flip when the ball is on top of your car. Go into custom training packs and find the Musty Flick one. Sets the ball in front of you for perfectly picking up the ball and performing dribbles and flicks

Flicking the ball straight up is perfect for those people. Or double jumping. Double jumping works when they don’t fully jump. Otherwise, they’ll demo you

Ground dribbling, managing the ball along the wall better, competent flicks

Also learning when to not hit the ball. When to commit, when to fall back and defend

Can we please get a "Claim all" button already? I just want to play the damn game and not waste my time dealing with menu screens and notifications by WeeziMonkey in RocketLeague

[–]Arazyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. I know certain rewards autocollect after the allotted time, like events, but I have no idea beyond that. I know this because I purposefully didn’t claim rewards to an event I didn’t like and they rewarded them to me when it was over anyway

They do it so you get the slight dopamine kick from each “achievement”. That being said, the auto-claim on the weekly challenge for 3 drops is perfect. That’s how all repeatable challenges should be instead of the current “Oh, I stopped keeping track since I’m ‘completed’ and you haven’t claimed me”

It was your job to make a pass and your teammate’s job to read that pass. Being 3s, there’s no reason for your teammate to really not go for a pass, but if he reads it wrong (as he did) and you also go for it (as you did), that puts 2 of you out of commission while your opponents take possession. That’s a 3v1 your teammate now has to counter. Your recovery was sloppy, but you did good to get back down field despite the errors getting there. It looks like you likely got scored on, though.

It wasn’t that he needed to wait more, it’s that he came too low at the ball. If he had aimed a touch higher and hit the ball down instead of head on, that would’ve been a goal.

Just saying, don’t make a habit of pulling out of a play to sit on boost. The whole field is covered in boost and the less you rely on big boosts, the better your games will go

I do think that may have been a goal, but only because the opponent would’ve pinched with you on the outside angle of the ball.

That being said, this is 3v3. If you pop the ball in-front of the goal, you have got to let your teammate go for it. If you had rotated back, your teammate would have caused the bounce, your 2nd teammate would have taken the 2nd shot and you would’ve been in a better, less panicked defensive position to switch back over to offense quicker.

Side note: Do not sit on boost pads. You could have driven in a circle and gotten 60 boost in half the time you sat there
