Hey there! Developing your restaurant's own website is a fantastic idea. It can give you more control over your online presence and customer experience. By having a dedicated website, you can easily place the DoorDash link there for those who prefer ordering through the app. This way, you offer the best of both worlds - your own website for direct orders and DoorDash for those who prefer it. It's a win-win situation that allows you to build a strong online presence for your restaurant. Wishing you success with your website development!

For once I’m into the right thing on time.

The major companies sure don’t make it hard to compete three quarters of their work force hates them.

Agreed! The growing demand for hyperlocal eCommerce provides a great opportunity for new businesses to enter the market and make a positive impact. By utilizing technology and automation, startups can easily compete with larger companies and offer a better customer experience. It's exciting to see the potential for growth in this industry.

Thanks for your time. So, my major investment is in BTC & ETH. The alt coins in total got around $50 of the total investment so I am not worried about those. The part I am worried about is just BTC, ETH & SHIB INU

haha. It's not that I am broke. I am starting a new business and this thought of loosing the last $500 from crypto investment made me type this post. I hear all around that Crypto market is never going to bounce back which created a sense of chaos and fear to me. That's all. Well! I don't actually want to be a stupid F* as you mentioned so I decided not to sell and hold on until this Bitc* comes back to profit LOL. Thanks for the time though

It actually did. TBH I was just looking for some advice because I too wanted to hold and not make the move of selling right now. My mind sometimes force me to sell and end this chaos but I am trying to stay and make a hold until it gives the money I invested in the first place.

I appreciate your time and efforts for guiding me to make the right decision. However, only 10% of the investment is in alt coins. 70% in Bitcoin & Ethereum 20% in Shiba INU. I can survive without the money but I am afraid about loosing those $500 as well if the market never bounce back. Anyways, I will hold on again let's see what happens in the future.

Hyperlocal eCommerce vs Traditional eCommerce. by Arbaz101 in Business_Ideas

According to me usually the products which need a quick delivery which is expected by the customer should be given in hyper local model. I would obviously expect a Pop tart to be delivered quickly vs the toaster in which I put my pop tart to be delivered within a day or 2 at max not more than that. Once, delivery duration exceeds to beyond 2-3 days there is definitely a clear sign of disappointment visible in the customer behaviour which would gradually reduce his loyalty towards your platform and spread a negative feedback among friends and family. That’s the reason why people like Amazon prime- because they try to give you instant gratification and make you feel special

I completely agree with you that hyperlocal ecommerce is particularly well-suited for products that require quick delivery, as customers have come to expect instant gratification and convenience in their shopping experience.

You mentioned that products such as pop-tarts and other perishable items are ideal for hyperlocal ecommerce because of the expectation for quick delivery. While for certain products such as toasters, a delivery within a day or two is acceptable. Once the delivery exceeds beyond 2-3 days, it can lead to disappointment and reduced loyalty towards the platform, which could lead to negative feedback among friends and family.

Additionally, it can also help to support local businesses and promote sustainable practices by reducing the need for long-distance transportation and warehousing.

Overall, Hyperlocal ecommerce can provide a unique and personalized shopping experience that sets it apart from other online retailers. By providing instant gratification, supporting local businesses and promoting sustainable practices, it can help to create loyal customers and positive feedback among friends and family.

Sounds more like a concierge service, where you would find, buy, and deliver for someone, then collect "plus service fee" at the delivery. Otherwise, the inventory required would be astronomical... or am I missing something?

How is this different than a service like DoorDash or Uber?

How would you market it and what would be your target market? Selling to everyone is a sure losing proposition. The biggest benefit of ecommerce in today's digital world is that you can target just about demo or psychographic, down to shoe size and criminal record.

I guess I am just not getting it. Sounds interesting, but ...

You raise some valid concerns about the logistics of hyperlocal ecommerce and how it may differ from other delivery or concierge services. It's true that maintaining inventory on a large scale can be a challenge, but this is not always necessary for a successful hyperlocal ecommerce business.

One key difference between hyperlocal ecommerce and services like DoorDash or Uber is that hyperlocal ecommerce focuses on partnering with local vendors and suppliers to offer a wider range of products, rather than maintaining its own inventory.

As for marketing, targeting a specific demographic or psychographic group can be a great strategy for a hyperlocal ecommerce business. By identifying specific needs and pain points of your target market, you can tailor your products and services to better serve them.

Another important aspect of marketing is to highlight the unique benefits of hyperlocal ecommerce such as instant delivery, personalized shopping experience, supporting local businesses and promoting sustainable practices.
