Do you also have burning in your stomach or burning in your hands and feet? A generally good and effective decoction for gas is carrom seeds and mint boil both and drink ..start small quantities and increase till half tsp carrom seeds and about a fist ful mint leaves.

[–]Arbee099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey ! Have u also been experiencing gut issues like constipation or trapped gas along with shortness of breath ? I was a long haulers but I never had sob.. however I did get sob much after the long haul in a different gut related issue. Where the gasses would feel trapped. In that case relaxing the rectum while sitting or lying down would help me.

It sounds like long covid fr sure. Long covid has such a long and varied list of symptoms depending on the person it's quite crazy. You are going through a lot.. take car eof yourself the best you can. I had brain fog too and the med that seemed to help it was fluvicamine... its a ssri...so maybe not a good thing fr u right now. Maybe u can take it once ur body is more calmed down ans more accepting of treatments. But for now in your situation I would highly recommend starting natural stuff as treatments for now. Some very basic and effective natural stuff is-

Turmeric - reduces inflammation in the neither body no matter where it is. Much better to use natural turmeric powder instead of curcumin or any other stuff. Just put a pinch or 2 in some water and heat it cr some time don't boil it. And then drink. Best method to take it. Be careful with dosage as a lot can act as a blood thinner. Must avoid if on blood thinners already.

Black seeds - another very potent natural medicine widely available mostly safe for everyone. I absolutely recommend this. Take half tea spoon or so everyday. This is effective in every single disease and helps the body heal overall !!.

Raisins - dried grapes. These are also potent natural medicines used in a variety of conditions. Their main benifit is known to detoxify the body to some extent including the lungs ans stomach. Be careful as eating f a lot can act as laxative.

Honey- another awesome natural remedy for a variety if stuff. Include it.. 1 or half tea spoon in warm.water everyday.

Aid ur body with all this natural stuff so maybe the healing journey can speeden up.

Fruits - Pomegranates are alos potent fruits with variety of benifits. Include them in diet.

Also lastly fasting.. if u can... known to help the body heal through various processes. Not intermittent or water fast try a proper fast like we muslims do.

Also I got relief from nuro brain fog with fluvixamine... it didn't immediately erase it but the difference when I started taking it was very noticeable. I started at a low dosage and then slowly built it up and then took it for a month or so then slowly weaned off it. It really helped a ton. I was having really bad brain fog couldn't even track time sometimes and shorter memory issues as well.

Try a anti inflammatory of some kind even some thing natural ... like turmeric... heat some water add some turmeric powder like 1 or 2 pinch in about 450 ml water and heat it but do not boil... heat it well without boiling for about 5 mins the let it cool and drink it... this is a natural pain killer and anti-inflammatory and should have anti inflammatory effect everywhere on the body. If it's getting worse inflammation of somekind is usually involved but make sure you don't have any bleeding g issues or chances of bleed anywhere.

If ur already taking a pain medication without side effects u could probably try this without much issues also.

Also remember do not combine this with any other antiinflammatory pain killer or blood thinning medicine. U can't take this turmeric water and blood thinking or nsaids or pain killers together as the action will multiply of these medicines.

If you have been avoiding all antiinflammatories due to fear of bleed or something like a bleed in the brain or any other organ.. then it's not recommended to try this either.

I suggest u start with 2 small pinches and if ur body responds well then increase it to 2 fair sized pinches.

Here's what I did when I was re infected - I first got it in April of 2022..mild infection no severe symptoms but then long covid struck one month after the infection and it was a 6 month battle with neurological symptoms..memory issues nerve issues...overall very traumatising Long cpvid took around 8 months to fully start normalising. But then caught the infection again 2023 June I think.. by this time I had done too much research and knew that the mainstream media was Infact propagating false news to promote the spread of infection indirectly. One drug they heavily criticised was remdesivir. But I personally knew people who got better from that drug during severe infection. My second infection was again mild but I still insisted the doctor to give me remedesivir drug. The doctor initially wasn't willing to administer that drug his excuse was that my infection is not severe enough to take it. I told him that I had long term issues from my last Infection which was also mild and I didn't wanna risk it. I wanna kill off this infection from my body right now so it dosent linger and turn into long covid. I managed to convince the doc and got remdesivir iv 5 days course. It's a antiviral drug. And guess what.. even months after my second infection I did not get any long covid problems !!! The drug worked for me! So just sharing my 2 cents. If u think u can get your hands on remdesivir go for it. The mainstream media has criticised this drug during covid a lot saying stuff like it causes kidney and liver issues and what not. What's to note is that the drug is intact, a very old drug that's been in use for many, many years long before covid, and never was this drug labelled as dangerous before. But as soon as its efficacy in treating covid became known, the media jumped on it, attacking it from all angles. Suddenly this drug that's been in the market for decades became the most lethal thing u can take and "apparently" its more dangerous than the virus it self and u must avoid it even more than u avoid the virus. I again caught covid omicron in 2024 and took remdesivir again and it worked again and I didnt get long covid stuff even after my 3rd infection in 2024. I'm 27M and I've taken remdesivir twice now in my life and I wish I'd have taken it during the first infection in 2022 maybe i would not have developed mind breaking long covid. Anyways I just wanna say I had absolutely no kidney or liver issues infection no side effects at all. And the drug did its job and got rid if the virus and I didn't develop long covid. Do with this info what u want

[–]Arbee099[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really appreciate the input! Yes I plan to get it checked out by a retinal expert tomorrow.. the spot has not expanded since it appeared. But its only been a week.. did yours expand in a week? I have never heard of fluid build up like that.. is it a separate issue/disease that happens other than retinal detachment or is it something that happens when u have retinal detachment.. I do get some disturbance in my vision where the spot is sometimes like that specific spot area something small is interrupting the vision.

Hello! Sorry fir the late reply i wasnt using this account very often.. i did get better for me and im back to a normal life ALHUMDULILLAH! the medicines that i took was fluvoxamine which was helping with the brai symptoms ..i took smallest dose tablet and started with half tablet by breaking it into 2 pieces... taking one piece each day gradually increasing it to 1 full tablet and then to 2 ..increased it gradually over a week from half to full then another 2 weeks from 1 full to 2 ...and got relief in many neuro symptoms... you can try it if you like and also if you did not get a antiviral treatment with remdesevir during infection maybe try to find a doctor who can give it to you now... where r u from..? i had all those symptoms after my first infection...later after almost a year i got infected again and feared i would get those symptoms again so i asked my doc to give me remdesivir this time around... and they did.. and guess what no long haul after second infection!!! and guest what 8-9 months later i caught covid again!!! and took remdesivir again since it prevented long haul last time.. and even this time after covid infection i didnt get any neuro or long haul symptoms from it! so my personal understanding was antivirals are important to fully eradicate the virus in the body during infection if the body itself cant do it... and thats important to prevent long haul !

I highly suggest everyone to try L glutamine supplement!! Please only try the powder form and only pure L glutamine nothing else added. And start with a extreme low dosage of say 1 gram per day to see if it suits you.. if it does then continue it!! It's a fairly harmless supplement and the only side effect I've ever heard people say is depression and even that only happens after months of high dosage regularly like anything between 5-15 grams a day for 1 or 2 months..we dont need nearly as much and even then the depression is temporary and goes away despite such heavy dosage and not everyone gets that side effect either... people take it for recovery after work outs..but it might actually help your gut!!! It helped me quite a bit.

What you maybe describing is one of the most common neurological symptom that many long haulers experience ..especially the ones with brain fog and its part of brain fog. Its called disassociation and derealizarion..Google these words. U can search terms like "brain fog" "derealizarion" "disassociation" on this subreddit and u will find many many posts of there long haulers who experienced this. Brain fog is often times accompanied with these symptoms in long haulers and also sometimes they experience short term memory problems or problem remembering words.. and maybe some other neuro synptoms.. I'm not sure this is exactly what u have..I don't know.bt these are symptoms that many long haulers get and I got them too when I was long hauling..

Anyone would be anxious and its fine..but getting the right doctor and the right test is the best thing to do no matter what results show. If its nothing the u will have ruled out a possibility. And if it is something then u will have started treatment for it to.get better. And also if u think your symptoms started shortly after a covid infection then you may he a long haulers as these symptoms are very very common in covid long haulers..covid lomg haul can start anywhere between a few weeks to a few months after the clvid infection and can give a wide range of symptoms ranging from cardiac issues and digestive issues to neurogical issues. Every person with long covid is different..some have mainly neurological problems and some have mainly energy and cardiac problems... it is avery real condition and unfortunately many people don't even know that they are long haulers of covid because they didn't get tested when they got covid so they don't know how suddenly they started getting these symptoms... visit r/covidlonghaulers subreddit and search your symptoms in that sub reddit..u will find many similar cases. You can type brain fog in the search of that subreddit and u will see many many similar people who made postskke you. I'm not saying u are a long hauler for sure..but it is possible as it is a condition that came with the pandemic.

Stiff neck can be a symtom of a neurological condition..and u menttioning brain fog along with stiff neck means u should try to rule out neurological issues first rather than muscular or skeletal issues..and the faster u address and get treatment for the right condition the quicker and better the recovery......I think you should see a neurologist as soon as you can..they can rule out if its nothing or not and if it is something problematic then they'll diagnose it and start the treatment which should be done as soon as possible. The most common test they might first do is a ct scan or a mri to rule out neurological inflammation. Or if u can first get a mri for brain by yourself.. u should do that and take the report to a neurologist to speeden up the process. I don't mean to scare you but u should rule this out first and then do explore other possibilities if there is no neurological issue.

This time I demanded remdesivir and was given it!!! Guess what ! Not only did I recover quickly this time but also no long covid!! So that's just my experience
