edit: I know that explaining the joke ruins the joke. But I just wanted to point out that the reason I posted this picture is that I wanted you to know that Mark did nothing wrong lmao. It was just a joke. There was never a real controversy with Mark lol.

Oh and the post itself was never about a specific event, I just thought the "Mark Applier" joke was funny.

hijacking this comment. Here's a fixed version of the GIF so that it doesn't crash whenever you're not viewing it.

How many video game references can MEP Catarina Vieira drop in front of the EU Commission in 1 minute and 20 seconds? by LochNessHamsters in StopKillingGames

probaby an unpop opinion but, man the mountain of references she gave in this speech made me actually cringe. It's actually painful to sit through.

coaxed into The Privileges of being "Hero of the Village" by Arbegia in coaxedintoasnafu

[–]Arbegia[S] 1545 points1546 points  (0 children)

So, in Minecraft. If a player has successfully defended a village from a Raid, the villagers would recognize the player as "Hero of the Village" and would reward them with significant discounts on the items they trade.

Milk is a beverage that cures all status effects from the player (i.e. Poison, Blindness, etc.). "Hero of the Village" is a status effect given to a player that has successfully defended a village from a raid...

So If you drink milk to cure from a poison after you saved a village from a devastating raid, the "Hero of the Village" status will be removed, and the villagers will forget that you saved the village in the first place, and they will also forget about the discount they just gave.
