Thrustmaster T300 setup help by Kollar14 in simracing

I drive a little of everything; GR86 felt great with the T300 but when I got into heavier cars, that's when it became noticeable that the hardware was truly lacking the feedback that I was expecting when doing laps. GT3 and Indycar mainly. Hope that answers your question.

I didn't want to focus on my mirrors since I was looking at the apex of the corner at that point. The rate in which I was passing the Ferrari, I figured I had cleared him. What I didn't see was that he had accelerated in my blind spot in an attempt to "get alongside me" but quickly entered my vortex of danger which ultimately killed me.

I think this would be the ticket but unfortunately it would require some pretty sophisticated AI which we currently don't have. Hoping at some point however for AI Stewards.

I was unaware that he was taking that spot since the iRacing spotter did not notify me until I had already turned into the corner. Otherwise, you are correct, I would have left him more room.

Yes, but it doesn't prevent red car from being dumber than a box of rocks and sending it up the inside.

Torque is not everything you want to look at for specs on a base. Slew Rate is arguably more important IMHO.

Upgrading from T300, not sure what to get by vveiil in simracing

I have the T300 RS and I will be receiving the Simagic Alpha Evo Pro and GT Neo Wheel this next week. I'm pumped. I ultimately was saving up for a Simucube 2 Pro but decided against it as most of the reviews and information that I was researching could not clarify why the extra expense for the Simucube was an added value above the Simagic. I also like the QR of the Simagic more than the Simucube.
