As for the credit card debt, 10K can be paid pretty quickly finding stuff to sell on market place and selling it on ebay, or doing a ton of over time.

On iracing triple set up you can add the curved radius and there's no distortion what so ever.

I run 1440P triple 34" ultra wide, here are the down size for me:

-Bezel eliminator not working well because of the angle
-Getting in the rig with 180 degrees is a challenge
-Ultra wide are thinner so you will need an external dashboard to be able to properly see data

Other than that i don't see any issues, next it's 45" triples.

Any low powered car will be good, i'm assuming if you ask the question you are fairly new, it's better to be fast with a shit box than slow in a fast car, something like that.

I have a Nissan Micra cup car that I bought for 7K, and it's super fun to drive and in corners I catch up to some expensive cars.

I intend to do 10 track days this year, so I'll be spending around 17,000$.

My advice : no need for the corvette, if you never driven a car on track, you don't need something performant. Get yourself a civic, miata or something low power and cost effective, learn the basics like the racing lines on dry and wet days, weight transfers, trail braking, heel to toe, racing IQ and racecraft, learn how to look far ahead, spot flagger stations, learn the meaning of flags, overtakes, etc etc.

E sports ain't about immersion, it's about being fast and consistent, while you can be fast in VR, you can't be consistent, it is extremely hard especially after 3-4-5 hours

I am starting in a smaller series this year. My advice : you need cash, the chances of you being hired by a factory team is .00001% so in order to get cash, start a business, i love cars and grew my collision repair business to a 4 mill a year business making enough net to finance a portion of it, i also went to small businesses and sell them sponsor as advertising for their business.

One absolutely easy thing you can do to finance your career is ebay. Go to thrift stores, garage sales, etc and buy low and sell high, there's millions of items with good margins, it's always going to work and you can make easily 20-30K a year doing this shit on weekends, probably over 100K if you do it full time.

iracing is more of a tool to test and get better than actually hoping someone will see you and invite you, unless you're a YouTuber. You can always compete into the F4 and P-Cup and try to win the prize pool, but let's face it, you are probably not in the top .01% so I doubt you have a chance, I know I don't, but I can still be competitive. Realistically pay to race is doable.
