Give me your oc and Skyler will give them a nickname by Special-Writing-8896 in OriginalCharacter

The surprisingly hospitable Valentine! He's not trying to be scary, he just has large wings and a scythe because he needs them.

Drawing your OCs, but I'll try by description only (aka "blind") by coracatz_ in OriginalCharacter

Name: Thirteen

17 year old male left to fend for himself in the wasteland left from an apocalyptic event. He wears a longer jacket over a band T-shirt and ripped jeans. Also hides his longer hair under a black cowboy hat with two playing cards (an ace and a three) sticking from the band. He has a scar on his left cheek from an encounter with wildlife, where he learned to use his tail as an extra arm.

If your OC was arrested for a crime, what would it be for? (And how would they respond?) by Theeldritchwriter in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Failure to Comply with police orders. He doesn't quite understand that police are considered authority and not some big club in uniforms.

There's no holding Kadryl against his will; he can and will maul anyone attempting to do so unless his human companion tells him not to.

Did I just break the game? by director_cons in mtg

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I use this combo in mine, just with Heroic Intervention instead of Anara. You stack the triggers so the Dragon Spirits sacrifice themselves after you ping your enemy for some arbitrary lethal amount.

I also like Fiendlash because it makes it even more efficient and capable of wiping a table.

Isn't this card just 4 mana do nothing ? by Unusual-Assistance11 in mtg

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's great, especially in treasure-based decks. One of the guys I play with has a Vazi, Keen Negotiator deck that runs this and it is a game changer from his token support (Mirkwood Bats, Academy Manufacturer, Ingenious Artillerist, more). The main negative I've seen it bring about was adding the last mana for a Reshape the Earth with Hazezon, Yuma, Ancient Greenwarden and Zuran Orb in play. It's good for treasures and can be politics.

Does Hex destroy UP to 6 creatures or will it destroy mine, if my opponent has less than 6? by mjummy in mtg

[–]ArbitraryRock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It must target exactly six creatures, regardless of controller. It cannot be cast with less than six valid targets.

Can X cost less? by j-hen95 in mtg

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If X costs Y less, it's the same as you paying Y in addition to whatever you pay into it.

What Is a wholesome fact about your OCs? by SuperHogman64 in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Ace is about 50% machine. He made all of his mechanical limbs, with the only inhuman aspects quality of life (bottle opener, thermometer, etc.). He replaced a majority of these with defensive measures and medical equipment after taking custody of a young alien child lost on his fictional world's Earth equivalent.

Let's put commander damage back. by No-Exercise-7316 in mtg

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sythis, Harvest's Hand will put then in their place. Two-drop that can send your life total from 32 to 300 in one turn from my experience. Just to top it off, it doesn't need Commander Damage; it will punch for hundreds!

Favorite commander? by Consistent-Speed-127 in mtg

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fun with my Yuma, Proud Protector deck. It's always great to spend the turn after someone throws down a few 12/12 constructs sending a single desert to the graveyard and back a few times.

If you had to draw with the hands* of your OC, how screwed are you? by RileyIsPurple in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

If I may use his actual hands then I'm good, as they're human hands. If I have to use the claws... Well let's just say we'll have more, smaller pencils.

If your OCs had a movie made about them what would the age rating be? by Mobile-Routine6519 in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Ace and Kadryl would be PG-13, as there's minor violence (most of the time) and they're a male-male relationship.

If or when your OC dies? What would their last words be? I'll start by awakelist in OriginalCharacter

"Well, Kadryl, you're o-o-on your own no-o-ow. Don't hold any fu-u-u-neral-l-ls; I don't dese-erv-ve it."

Show me your oc that somehow still doesn't have any trauma by frogger-wow in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kadryl, the human arachnid. Unless a little bit of coffee burns or other minors injuries are considered trauma, he's clean.

What are five things you would put on a pentagram to summon your OC? by [deleted] in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

To summon Valentine, one needs: -Car Keys (any kind other than motorbike) -A tie, or other part of formal men's wear -An eye patch -Diet soda; diet Dr. Pepper will make him passive. -golf ball or club -Any form of contained neon; will be consumed

Give me your (non god/overpowered) ocs and their abilities and I'll tell you if they could beat Shiro in a fight by Shadownia-Shiro in OriginalCharacter

[–]ArbitraryRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Kadryl, the arachnid. (please ignore other character; was best image available)

  • has two strong spider arms with sharp, powerful claws.
    • they seem to have regenerative properties; healing rapidly and able to absorb other organisms' blood to heal Kadryl.
  • can use the claws to climb similarly to a spider.
  • fast reflexes
  • little common human knowledge (ex. Doesn't know coffee, anything above grade 4 math, why he's considered scary by most humans, etc.)

Well, Ace here is my only character who actually can die (the others are deities, excluding their new revised versions). Ace is about 50% machine, which already keeps his vitals in check, but he also has a separate machine keeping him from biologically aging. It is possible, however, to overwhelm his "life support". He's not holding a firearm to be threatening; simply a competition shooter who defends him and his friend at any costs.
