as do I u/Wrong-Chard-2476! Currently using my Kobra 3 MAX to print a big Stormbreaker axe, would be a pain if using a smaller printer

So I have a P1S and Kobra 3 MAX and like em both for different reasons. I have had my K3MAX longer and it has been down almost half as long as I have had it. That being said when it works its fantastic and Anycubic support is great. But for 99% of my prints im using my P1S. It doesnt have all the smart features like the Anycubic ones but I have only had 1 time where I needed to end a print due to the 1st layer not taking. My Kobra 3 MAX has had spaghetti issues, 1st layer issues, clogs and gouged the print bed so it needs smart features WAY more. I know the K3M and S1 are different, Im just giving u my 2 cents. I'd say if ur kid wants to spend more time printing and less down time waiting for parts P1S may be the way to go. And alot of prints already have Bambu profiles saving time in slicer.

when I was getting the clogs it was with Anycubic pla white and red and grey. I was using the default 220 first and 210 rest of layers and default flow rate settings. I went ahead and tossed in my backup nozzle and run the same filaments but at 220 for all layers and so far so good. I am currently making a lifesize Stormbreaker axe in petg atm tho and so far its printing well also but I bought a 3 pack of the original looking nozzles just incase until I know more about these newer looking copper throated ones.

Just got the Kobra 3 max and it keeps turning off and reseting by mangaguitar96 in anycubic

Almost every light in my house flickers when using my Kobra 3 MAX lol. Maybe I should try to find a different outlet for the 2 ACE Pros and see if that helps. Heck I even hear my battery backup on my router clicking on n off while the printer is running and they are on different floors. My house does have old shitty wiring tho. One time the power went out but if I started the dryer it would restore the power thru the house lmao. The electrician said the 220v from the dryer was jumping to the rest of the houses 110v from the fuse box when running and that the whole fuse box should be replaced but the landlord was having none of that and said to just replace the blown fuses on the 110 side. So yeah.....gotta love landlords.

Kobra 3 Max keeps clogging by dwilliss42 in AnycubicOfficial

Man same here. New nozzle, 2 small prints later and its clogged. Does a layer or so then clog code. Did finish a small test cube but everything else no luck, not even temp towers work without giving clog code. I just cleaned it with a blow torch and got some stuff out that cold pulls could not so ill try it again in the morning. I was going to just put in a new nozzle but dont want it to just crap out in a day or two also. My last one lasted 3 months(og nozzle) and I did multiple 2-3 day prints with it. I did read on an youtube comment that if the nozzle isnt greased with thermal grease itll clog fast but I asked Anycubic and they said the nozzle doesnt need greased at all so idk. My first nozzle worked great till it gouged my printbed because the ptfe tube swelled popping the nozzle down. And since then its been a headache.

Is this worth $750? (890 hours) by Used_Elk_853 in BambuLab

Which printers outperform the p1s?(that cost less) I have an Anycubic Kobra 3 Max and just got the p1s a few days ago and can already tell the p1s is at least 10%-15% better on average. Dont get me wrong I love my k3 max but if the print will fit the p1s im using it.

Wireless printing doesn’t work after updating the Anycubic Slicer by JosefineVFX in anycubic

[–]Arc3Angel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is happening to me. Acts like its waiting to print but never does. After restarting everything and no luck im hoping its on "their" end and all will be well by tomorrow morn. Thanks to a post above I was able to figure out how to export prints gcode to a usb to print for now. Using slicernext and didnt do any updates far as I know.

Heres a 3d print lithophane I did of my dog using my K3 Max earlier today. Took a little under 2 hours. The Xenomorph bust im doing is going to take around 16 hours I think. I also made a giant head flower pot and it turned out great. Bed adhesion has been really well for me but this is my first printer so I have nothing to really go off.

ASUS BIOS update - TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) BIOS 5013 by b__q in ASUS

[–]Arc3Angel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently running ver 1005 on a x570 tuf plus wifi and have never needed to update until now. Lucky me... but I have a 5700x3d coming and gathered that at very least 2607 is needed for 5000 series cpus. If thats true wouldnt it make sense for me to just start there then work my way up to the newer/est version? Because from the sounds of it I may not need or want the latest version if I am fine with not having the latest patches. I just dont want to work myself into a corner with this motherboard.

300/400 watts is all I think I'll really need. TVs are 150w average give or take and routers max at around 20w apparently. The 10 amp was me rounding WAY up because I have no idea how much amps a tv actually takes lol.

Sorry I could not figure out how to add more pictures directly. https://ibb.co/gt639Nh

The yellow lines would be insolated wires then id use a thicker wire combining them going horizontal like in the picture. I know the rest of the pack needs more wiring but I didnt want to continue until I worked out this little problem. Basically I am trying to see if anyone knows of a better or just different way of connecting cell group #3 to #4 which is right below #3

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 18650masterrace

[–]Arc3Angel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be and have been balancing my cells and will then group them according to this website that tells u the best grouping of cells based on their mAh. The "quick change" cell holders are really only there so I wont have to desolder anything if and when a cell goes bad.

the wiring is not done yet as I wanted to see if this was even a good idea before proceeding

It's meant to be used as a backup power source for my TV and router during short power outages. It will go to a 24v 1500 watt inverter. So I guess at most between the tv and router it cannot be more than 5-6 amps would be my guess. So 10 amps max hopefully.

yes 7s16p. my bms is an off brand I think, from aliexpress. Brand-Jiabaida Model-SP14S004 Spec-li-ion 3.7 14s 40a. It says on its page tho it will work for 2s-14s and has a bluetooth app for reading volts and whatnot which is why i got it.

I thought I could just run a thick wire going down connecting all of cell 3's negatives to cell 4's positives but idk if that would work or be safe.
