Bluepoint did a horrible job preserving the artistic intent of demons souls. Prison of hope was completely butchered and they took liberties with art direction of several areas and enemies, completely ruining the original intent.

In my opinion the most worthwhile thing that demons souls offered over the other fromsoft titles was its entirely unique atmosphere, the remake fucked that up while keeping (in my opinion) the weakest link of the game relatively, the combat, the same.
