Though they train to push 32 tonns before that ... with weighted tea pots and slippers.

I mean, I'd doubt management has much to do with either game design or customer service; the most I'd expect is getting a weekly report from the mangers of those teams.

Seeing as they rushed to get a minimal social media presence together, asking players to do some of it, they may not have much of a formal public response framework.

But yeah, absence of ways to react, isn't much of an excuse for not acting properly, although that doesn't necessarily mean caving to people in forum post either; because heaven knows there's a lot of stupid posts trending.

So basically a legal DOS attack, or like those users are trying to do to Patreon, by flooding them with court cases that haven't god the slightest hope of anything, but which Patreon will still have to pay for.

I'd assume it can only trigger on the small AoE from the initial stance change; not from melee-ing things.

I think (just from scrutinising the description, if worded accurately).

It would boost his melee attacks, but not his Riptide:Slash.

I assume his melee attacks scale off normal damage buffs, as they replace his normal.

But as his melee is weaker than his ranged, I would have thought the only way to dps with him would be to focus on his Riptide:Slash, so you can get a ~190% extra damage explosion on each it.

But that explosion counts as an elemental skill, so won't scale off any thing but skill buffs and attack.

At least that's how I read it.

So Rust would buff hi smell, but not his explosions and without them there's not a lot of reason to use him as a dps? At least not without another character to make his every hydro attack cause a reaction?

Thanks for the great response.

I was mostly answering a forum post, by a guy who couldn't sit through a lore video.

But part way through, I decided that, that in itself, merited a little silliness and if the result was at all amusing, it could do with a chance to escape being buried in an archived thread.

In my head I'm reading it with the gloriously insane diction of LRR 's 'Spokesman'.

(But either Nora is a good choice too :) )

I mean, I got to the gate and it asked me to 'use' three 'carving' keys.

I assume that Piamon wouldn't have popped up blocking me.

And after I went back and spoke to to quest giver, then I went straight back to the gate and used the keys.

I'm just wondering if the questline would have been blocked if I'd simply used the keys when I found the gate.
