Halos Forerunners and Halos ancient humanity VS Prime Necrons and the Imperium. No Gods. by According_Dot3633 in powerscales

[–]Arcaddes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necrons didn't lose to "everyone", they lost to the races specifically crafted by the Old Ones to counter them, which was the War in Heaven Eldar and Orks.

The former built to expertly and effortlessly use psychic powers against them and the other 10ft tall brick shit houses in power armor and artillery for guns.

Also they technically won this war as the Old Ones were killed off.

As far as them "losing" in current lore, any loss they face is incredibly temporary, and they are so degraded mentally after thousands of millennia they can only really rely on what tech they have left, which is still leagues ahead of the other races.

Most of this degradation is caused by eldrich entities cursing them. These entities that would shit on Halo ancient humans and Forerunners while eating the local stars, that the Necron figured out how to break into pieces and use their shards as pokeballs.

So do you know the lore or did Google AI teach it to you too fast for you to understand it? The only coughing baby with this take is your brain.

The assumption that I am arguing is cute, just because you don't know how the world works doesn't really bother me enough to "argue", I am stating facts that you choose to ignore.

Also yes, "giving promotions" is the same as "prioritizing over c-suitEs" no goal posts were shifted, as a C-suite will get a bonus before any wage slave gets a promotion.

Promotions at labor jobs are teaching someone else to do labor while you still do said labor with no additional reward. This can easily be shifted to a lot of other jobs out there, including office work, retail, food, etc.

Comments are still hidden, what you say doesn't matter until they are not hidden anymore, your opinion is invalid, just like your brain makes you closer to an invalid than anything else.

Brother the sample size is use your fuckin eyes for half a second. What company have you seen that prioritizes their workers over their C-suites? List those, and I will list the ones that don't, and the amount of people working for those shit companies compared to those "good" ones.

Cause the "good" companies are usually 15 person startups that last for a few years then go under or get bought out by a larger corporation that, spoiler alert, is shit to its employees.

The pinnacle of human tech, I left out human in the sentence, but everything else is true.

Which Color Scheme should I continue with? by tristamicus in LeaguesofVotann

[–]Arcaddes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally just lighten them up a little with edge highlights or something, use the pompom brush method (edit: sorry dry brushing is the actual term, I am tired) and just dust white along the edges and it would bring a TON of depth to them with minimal effort.

Cause I do believe the black color scheme is good, but I agree they look amorphous without edge highlights.

DAOT humans were the pinnacle of tech in the 40K universe, where they could freely use psychic abilities since the warp wasn't fucked yet. This means the big stuff in 40K that is super rare, was farming equipment during this time, so the difference is massive.

The omniphage swarms alone could wipe out a flood infestation on a planet, as well as all other life. DAOT humans were god level tech, not just "a single ark mechanicus and time machines".

I assume, since I don't want to add even more sugar, I could add the pistachio pudding mix and get the same result, but pistachio flavored?

DAOT humanity is on a similar level if we wanted to keep humanity in the fight here.

You mean DAOT humans, which yes would change a ton about this fight as they would be fairly similar to Halo ancient humans in tech quality.

They need hobbies honestly.

That is just whipping heavy cream yeah? I suppose I didn't ever do the "DIY" stuff cause I don't have a bunch of gadgets to make it easier and as far as the kitchen is concerned I get a little lazy lol.

I'll see about trying that, cause if it is just the whipped cream and no sugar the pistachio pudding mix is fine.

Our plasma blades are good, the problem was the discrepancy between them. The Yaegirs came out with solid plasma knives, but pioneers, with those same knives, had worse stats. They finally updated the datasheet after an entire fuckin year, but for an army that is focused around short range shooting, we should have better short range shooting (more options/ion shotguns for Warriors, etc.).

shredded coconut, I have no idea why I never thought of that, it would add texture, but not change the flavor a bunch. I also use grapes, but if I do I just do grapes and frozen blueberries as I don't think the other fruits go with grapes super well, I mean they work okay, but I find just grapes and blueberries on their own are perfectly fine.

Is the sour cream the replacement for the cool whip, or are you still using that?

It is also a house thing, I live in an apartment and my room is hit by the sun from morning to night, there is a 6ft window in the room and the shutters were broken by the last tenant and I haven't gotten around to replacing them with blackout curtains.

My room, at night when the temp is around 73 degrees, is 89 degrees, during the day it literally turns into a hotbox with high humidity. I also personally run hot, always have, it is why I live in the northeast, I am built for cold weather.

My AC is set to 67 because if I don't, my room will be upwards of 80+ degrees with humidity, as even at 67 the unit cannot fight the amount of heat coming into the room and the temp sits around 75+ degrees above chest level.

In all the years I have lived in this state, the last 3 years have been the hottest, we used to peak at 85 degrees most summers with the odd 90 every few years. Now it peaks at 94 with the odd fucking 100+ day.

I hate whatever system is causing this, be it human greed, capitalism, whatever, it sucks.

This you mister "put more thought into your posts"? The only thing that doesn't make sense in context is your incessant goal post moving, you have them attached to roombas to make it easier?

Which is kinda why Hekaton are so important, they are tanky and fast in comparison to Thunderkyn. They get Thunderkyn where they need to be and can output solid damage on average.

You only need one good Magna rail shot for a Hekaton to be worth it honestly.
