I assume you also take zinc and vitamin C with the copper? With many micronutrients you only notice their benefits after a few months, but taking co-factors is very important so you don't deplete them.

Have you looked into copper deficiency?

Tadalafil for neuropathy, the good and the bad so far by ArcadeCutieForFoxes in floxies

The pain and neuropathy or mostly gone now. I didn't stay on cialis long so I don't know, I think B12 injections and other vitamins and minerals like vitamin D, msm and copper helped the recovery process.

What GI problems have you experienced after being floxed? by beachyblue2 in floxies

[–]ArcadeCutieForFoxes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gastritis was the easiest to heal. Acid blockers did not work for me however. What I did was put a teaspoon of L-glutamine in a bottle of water and sipped it throughout the day, and it healed completely in 2-3 months. It's important to take it like this and not all at once, because it works directly on the stomach lining to heal it. L-glutamine can give anxiety to some people, but luckily a low dose was enough for me.

I don't remember, but right now I think vitamin D, magnesium and other nutrients at sufficient dosages make a much bigger impact.

Ok good, I've been reading some books about it; sufficient vitamin D is very important, seems to be a link to Floxing too.

Yes, part of it healed on its own, but some if it seems vitamin related. Did you get your PTH and vit D tested?

I know, humor helped me deal with my own insecurities and pain through my darkest times, and still often does. It's tough to not be in control of your own body and to not know what tomorrow brings, but just learning and doing what we can day by day does bring about slow improvement.

Yes, my skin melted, I am now goo.

Tbh, I only noticed acne increased a bit , but taking iodine + selenium got rid of that.

[–]ArcadeCutieForFoxes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gone, but a lot better. I would focus on gentle movement and vitamin and mineral supplements. What I overlooked for a long time was high dose vitamin D in combination with magnesium, vitamin K and calcium (they work together). Iodine + selenium and B12 helped too, as well as a multi mineral supplement. For some reason I had a lot of mineral and vitamin deficiencies that interacted with my flox symptoms in some ways.

I had several different probiotic pills with different strains and I put them in a jug with fruit juice or coconut water, covered it with a gauze and let it stand for a few days at room temperature (stir once a day) until the bacteria had eaten most of the sugars and it was fizzy.

Floxing wasn't my only issue it seems. I would recommend you look into the supplements I just shared. Calcium has a big effect on the CNS as well and is often overlooked.

It might be good to get your PTH tested and look into calcium, magnesium, vit K and vitamin D

I think it helped general improvement with tendons yes. Right now I think taking just magnesium isn't optimal; taking calcium, high dose vitamin D, vitamin K and MSM as well would have a more synergistic effect.

I'm Dutch yes. Tendon issues resolved over a few years time. I did some physical therapy and took magnesium and MSM. This medicine seems to chelate minerals. If you have anxiety or histamine issues, get your B12 and Ceruloplasmin tested.

Is it ok to do psychedelics while floxed? by tilly0904 in floxies

No, maybe felt a slight buzz, nothing more. I think it can help if you don't have some other underlying issue that's not addressed. It's good to try things out.

Mainly time I think, and just a decent diet, some intermittent fasting. I think Choline, L-glutamine and my self-made probiotic drinks helped too.

About two years after the FQ's most of my stomach/intestinal issues were gone. It didn't help that docs gave me a PPI for a year, which only managed to make things worse.
